My god. The remaining sheets all posted on the same day. I could cry right now. This is unprecedented and utterly amazing in presentation. @Rockette - Yes damnit, you're as poetically twisted as ever lol. I've come to enjoy the darkness of your characters and no better would they fit in an RP than this one. This is the sort of complex character I've desired to see in this RP(Not that no one else has provided me with that of course). What I mean to say is, Simone is sufficiently twisted enough that I can go ahead with plans I'd made just for such a character. True evil would be the phrase I'd describe her with after reading and to have her as part of the team will lead to some interesting conversations(considering we've got a 19 year old in tow and my bitter, aging Agent). Conversations with her will be fucking gold lol. Accepted. @Gordian - Mother of fucking... I can't even finish the sentence. You've successfully blindsided me with your vernacular. Your writing, it's just... It's just a marvel to stare at lol. On the one hand, I wish I could even write a fraction as well, but on the other, I just seriously enjoy reading it multiple times trying to figure out all the hidden intricacies I've missed or any innuendos you've placed lol. I just cannot believe the level of penmanship you display, if you haven't ever written a book in your life, you need to do so. And as usual, your character is wonderfully different to the established cast which an interesting origin and, no doubt an equally interesting view on the world. You already know I look forward to interaction with this one. Accepted. @Ether - Long time, no see first off XD. I'd deny your picture if I didn't love Metal Gear so damn much hahaha. I find this character interesting in the fact that as duty-bound as he comes across, there are hints in the personality of layers that may be peeled back. I can see him developing several different ways due to the nature of Erasure we perform or an NPC that he meets which leaves a lasting impression. I think you're one of the only people who can create a standard soldier type character and have them still come across with a level of sophistication and hidden potential. I enjoy that feeling. Accepted as well. Okay then! Now that these sheets have been posted, I am officially closing submissions and we will begin the IC very shortly(as in, I'm working on it now XD)! Some things to say before you guys get to writing that first post: As I said earlier, none of these characters know each other. The circumstances of their meeting will be explained in the IC, but we're chronicling character development from the very beginning. Now, I'll say this; being in the same city, some of them may have heard of one another, but that would be as far as it goes. None of them have ever had the pleasure of a conversation or anything so this will be the first real time they've met one another. For NPC characters, you guys can submit them to me via PM anytime. I also stress, submit them via PM. While the main cast should be seen in this thread, I want to keep each player-created NPC a secret until such a time as when they are introduced. At that point, I will add them to a new NPC section in the OP. These NPC characters will serve as psychopaths for the main cast to target at some point or another and become the subject of their own subplot. The creator of the character being used at the time will have full control over this NPC and will RP both their main and the NPC for the duration of the subplot, thus giving you the chance to play crazy(or innocent; they can be both) psychopath antagonists. Now, I know someone will ask so I'll answer prematurely - you may create up to two NPCs and only one can be for general use. This is meaning to say that in order to avoid a world filled with throw-away NPCs, I'm allowing each player to create one NPC that may not be a targeted as a psychopath and can come in later for other purposes. They can still have plot meaning, but I encourage to watch the course of the RP a bit before getting ideas about a general NPC can play a meaningful role. If you have any questions regarding NPC, I'll be more than happy to answer. Again, you can make up any futuristic technology as you need it for your scenes. This is a fully sci-fi world in the year 2265 and many different kinds of advanced tech exist. The only thing I ask is that it has nothing to do with weapons of any kind. Future weapons never took off due to plot reasons in this world. After you read about the basics I will post about Future Chicago in the OP, you're free to invent whatever tech you'd like to showcase in the scenes you write. In this way, we're developing the world together and I think that'll be more fun than me just dictating what exists and what doesn't. You guys are creative too. Alright, I think that's all I've got for the moment. If you have any questions, ask ask ask. Also, feel free to chat up the OOC about random shit if you wish, I don't mind at all(I encourage it actually lol). I'm working on this IC post now and it'll be up in a couple hours probably. I also know Dani said she couldn't post Thursday, so that's fine if you can't get to it today and tomorrow. Hope you guys enjoy the ride and also enjoy contributing to the branching narrative. IC will be up soon!
