Leroy shrugged. “Well, free vacation. What’s there to complain about? Besides, I think this vacation has less to do with giving students a break and more to do with the fact the school was destroyed.” He actually found it weird. They were able to fix a destroyed student center in just one night, but needed an entire vacation to fix a building. Granted a building was a lot bigger but… He would’ve thought that they could still get the job done in 3 weeks if less than a day was needed for the student center. “Not that I mind it here, but when do you think we can go back to school?”

After listening to Oona answer his question, he raised a brow and repeated, “Your people? So you’re not human then?” After a small moment of consideration he added, “Mermaid maybe?”
