After her dad's disappearance, Rose's life had been turned upside down. She loved him and looked up to him so much, and one day he was just [i]gone[/i]. Initially she was just constantly mourning. Then it got worse. After the 6th grade (when the bullying for being bi first started), Rose just stopped trying to be social. Her mom spoiled her to death and pleaded for her to get out more, but she couldn't come to making any friends. It was always "Oh you're the girl who likes guys [i]and[/i] girls. Ew, get away." She couldn't trust anyone and convinced herself that love was a luxury bought by the cosmetically wealthy.
