Hazmat, all you really need to do is think of two things, descriptions and events. Interesting events make interesting reading, whether they be big or small. Indded, even purely emotional events are fun to read. Secondly just describe, what people look like, what they think, what they feel. Not too much or it leaves no room for imagination and the whole thing become monotonous. But looking at your post I think you are being too harsh on yourself. Get stuck into and things will flow I'm sure. On a separate note I just want to establish a short time line for a few events relating to the Azera. At the present time in character the following events are happening simultaneously. The Azera meeting with the Empire, the Halkirk meeting to discuss economic policy and the Stellata trade ships leaving port. In a few IC hours, or less, the following events will happen. The Azera meeting with the Empire will come to a close, the Halkirk message threatening economic reprisals will reach the Azera and the Stellata convoy will be well away from port. Tomorrow, in character and with events permitting, the following things will occur. The Azera will meet with the Halkirk and the Stellata convoy will be some way inside Azera waters. (they are big and will take a few days to cross by conventional ships) Interestingly the Stellata convoy will get some way into Azera seas, you will find out why later. I am not saying the above events have to happen in the order, it's just one event will have an impact on another so it's important to know what will be going on and in what sequence. From a practical perspective this means that once the meeting with the Empire is wrapped up I can do simultaneous posts covering the Stellata incursion and the Halkirk talks. Are the affected people happy with the order of events proposed? Thanks
