Carmen now had a front row seat to Ara's antics. For his initial bout, "In fact, maybe we'll get to see a proposal on the island sometime soon", Carmen had her one eyebrow raised but with an amused smile. "I wonder if they'll ask me to be a bridesmaid," she responded playfully. "I'll only accept if I still get to wear my hat."

As they got up to leave and passed by the embarrassed pair, with Ara saying something into the guy's ear, Carmen tried to apologize with her hands and shaking her head back and forth while trying (and mostly failing) to suppress a smile. Finally turning and seeing that the incredibly embarrassed girl was being tended to, she trotted over to where Ara had gone to. "Well that was incredibly amusing," she said, still smiling. "So! Where do you want to go? I've been to my house, the beach store, the bar and...that's about it."
