Dennis never signed up for this kind of work. In fact, he had always wanted to be a baseball manager. Or something like that. So again, what the hell was he doing with a job like this? And an annoying partner to boot. Grumbling awake, Dennis looked up and glared at his partner, Miss Roseia. Sighing and shaking his head, he got up from his slumber and proceeded to dust his clothes off. The two were....certainly an unlikely pair. Dennis always did have trouble sleeping. An insomiac, or whatever they were called. Indeed, at first glance it looked like he barely took care of himself. Unruly and messy black hair that was almost too long, barely covering a sick shade of green eyes with numerous sleep deprived circles under each eye. He wore a plain suit and tie finished off with a pair of sharp edged and circular glasses. He even had a nice hat around here....somewhere in the mess. Someone of the two had to dress professionally. "Yeah, yeah, I'm on it," he muttered back to his partner's commands. How did she expect him to work in top shape if she always gave him the paperwork? Well, whatever. Another case meant another chance at getting paid. And that was fine by Dennis. It didn't take long for the client to meet the duo. A large and chubby man, Dennis was surprised he hadn't had a heart attack on the way here. At the sound of ghosts being mentioned, Dennis raised an eyebrow. They'd been getting more and more "paranormal" cases like that, usually involving some mythical creature. And now they were dealing with ghosts? Great. Dennis leaned back and placed his booted feet on the desk, crossing his arms behind his head bored. Roseia wouldn't approve, but it's not like it mattered anyway, right? In hindsight, Roseia and Dennis were two of a kind. The real Batman and Robin. Heck, some even called them the modern Holmes and Watson. Of course in this case, Holmes was a chick. They were that good. Funny how things turned out. Adjusting his glasses and trying to get some much needed sleep, Dennis muttered out with his eyes closed, "So are we the new Ghostbusters now too Roseia?"
