Hey, sorry to try and jump in at the very last moment, but this RP looks quite interesting. I quickly posted a WIP in the nation sheet thread just to claim a region, but I submit to any admin's decision to kick me out/move me/tell me to change anything about my sheet. As you can tell be the sheet I posted, I would very much like to join as goblins in region A7, because the setting and that particular province fit perfectly for me to play the continuation of a long-running nation of mine (I can send you links to the now-dead forums in which I played them, if anyone is interested). Basically, if your SyrianHamster highness would be so kind as to allow me, I would be playing something of a miniature Poland-Lithuania but with saintly orders as its basis of organization.EDIT: My nation's backstory could totally work with goblins not being an imperial race. All of the continental land would have been occupied by lizardfolk and/or dwarves under the Empire, only to be (re)taken by the goblins coming from the little island(s) in the region.
Alright, only I've had limited contact with that region (its south of my country), so I'll cut you a deal. You can be Goblins, you can choose your exports, but to fit in with the established lore: - Your goblinfolk came from region A.12 (Telia, the only Goblin state at present). - They fled the war-torn region either from persecution, or because they wanted to start anew, free from the constant bloodshed. - They landed at A.7 with this purpose, and allied themselves with a local deeply religious Dwarf Cleric, and together brought the area under a unified government. - Your population must accommodate 40,000 Dwarves. - I can't allow you 300,000 Goblins for this background (as it would be a huge number, given your exodous), but will permit 80,000 Goblins. - 40,000 Dwarves + 80,000 Goblins, unified by their religious devotion. How does that sound? If you want a Goblin state, that is purely Goblin and up for complete refurbishment, then A.12 is your best bet. -------------------------------------- Foxy old pal, stay tuned to this section of the post, I need to look at the facts and figures before I let you join. I'll edit it within ten minutes. EDIT: You're lucky, Bohaddon's army hasn't pounced, it was merely "mustering". To take over this region, you will need to explain your actions to Bahapore. Otherwise it looks good, and I have no problem with it. *Bangs gavil* Approved. Edit no.2: You may keep bronze with your iron and slave exports. Also, it's Bohaddon. Bo-hadd-on. Not Bohadden. :)
