Milo stood posted outside the Marshal's office as the two men hashed out details in Boyd's office. Tiny droplets dripped from parts of his uniform, slightly wetting the area around him. Milo stood at attention though, hands behind back, with forearms and shoulders forming a V to the side of his body, with his vision facing straight ahead. Milo was an officer, and would act like one. Some Scouts, especially when in the field, found solace in shirking their standards. Milo reveled in following all customs of the Scouts, however, minus the cloak and boots. As Milo stood at the office door, he wondered back to Alec's question. He wondered exactly why they would invite such a seemingly dangerous man to Arcartus, willingly. It wasn't Milo's part to question his orders, however. His orders were to receive the man upon his arrival, lead him to the CBO, and then lead the man to a place where he could lodge for the night. His orders did not extend past that, and Milo was happy that he'd be done with the man soon.
