A hull-mounted launcher loaded up the listening post, and the corvette turned on her side. The launcher fired, seeing the pod hit a meteorite and affix itself with electromagnets to the mostly-metallic rock. [i]Whisper of Deceit[/i] moved into high orbit and deployed receiving equipment to track physical anomalies.
