Her father and mother had spent their years together working for their family's fortune, adding more money on top of a pile that began with her grandfather's legacy. This legacy would eventually fall into Clover's hands and she would be expected to pick up where her father left off. She had other plans. Being a young female with an unlimited supply of money at your fingertips tends to drive your life for you. As Clover plodded through her early years, she noticed how the knowledge of her wealth seemed to make decisions in her life for her. Certain people would flock to her, becoming fast friends even if Clover tried to protest. These friends brought with them their own ideals, their own problems and surrounded Clover in attention she didn't want. Home was a different story. While at school she could never find any time alone, she was never more alone than in the presence of her own parents. Both were either too busy with work, or too busy with each other. Every now and then her father would try and have a conversation with her on the business, bring her up to speed when there was nothing she needed to know. Dinners together were business meetings instead of casual conversations and for bedtimes stories, her father would map out her future. Being that she had plenty of "friends" and her parents gave her too much freedom, it didn't come as a surprise when their daughter failed to turn up one night. They passed it off as "nothing unusual" and continued with their routines. A week after Clover left home, a pandemic swept the world, taking everyone by storm. The US was plunged into chaos and within a few days millions of people had lost their lives or turned. Clover had left under the guise of a sleepover with a friend so she could find some time to escape the stifling life awaiting her back home. She'd been with her friend only a few days when they finally learned what was happening. From then on her life changed. Clover would find herself as part of a group of nomadic survivors. This large group of couple dozen men, women and children would move from the Northeast to the South losing many of their number during the trip. Eventually only four would remain and agree on moving west to chase rumors and escape the enemies they'd made. Occupation Pre-Apocalyse: Student ---- CS for Carter coming soon.
