"Hey Lann. You know that picture that you sent me the other day?" Alphonse tried to converse with his son who looked like he was daydreaming through the window. His reflection was crisp by the mirror's pane staring into the sparkling sky as the sun rayed its brilliance. The moment he heard his father's voice his head turned towards the road. The place seemed familiar. The view of it reminded him of something but he couldn't put on his finger what it was. The night's view during the street that Lann and Emilia always passed masked the way to her home well. "Oh yes. That's my first friend. Something's up?" Alphonse was focused on the street in front of him, smiling as he turned the steering wheel towards the corner of the street swiftly. The road was now the path that lead to Emilia's house-- That Lann still had failed to recognise. "Nothing's wrong. It's just that..." Alphonse could see a student in the distance, looking around as if she was trying to locate something or someone. As soon as she looked towards the direction of the car, she waved to signal that it was her waiting. "There's your cousin." From where he was sitting, he couldn't see who was the girl. His heart beated a little hard and felt as if something was horribly amiss as they kept approaching. Soon, as the car moved closer... And closer... The figure revealed itself, slowly bit by bit. He also slowly came to realise what street he was in. "This is...--" Alphonse put on the brakes, looking at Emilia and waving at her with a smile. He pulled the power windows down and greeted her. "Hello--" He greeted her but he stuttered. "Lann's... First friend?" He was confused. What was happening? Lann next to Alphonse was practically nervous at this entire encounter. He tried to focus his eyes on Emilia. "Are you waiting for somebody to pick you up?" Lann didn't know what to say or do. Whether or not to make Emilia say yes or no. "I'm on my way to picking up my brother's daughter. She lives around here too."
