You're quite right, but collaborating on combat post might not be feasible, and it might become a bitch for the other players to read... Pros and cons, you know. Honestly, I think time I can collab with someone is great, but I don't have the technology to do it most of the time, nor am I a fast typer, which means collabs take forever to complete... :( And then they have to be edited. To use a trope: "awesome, but impractical". And, if it practical for you, that part of what I'm saying. It shouldn't be restricted either way.
I understand completely, though there are many ways to collab (Guild PM, Chatzy, Google Docs) some might be hindered by it. Then again, collabs could only be used for combat and that would make them a bit less frequent. Also, if the two writers wish they could easily distinguish who's writing what with name tags or whatever you put on top a post uwu but if it is an issue then do what is comfortable for you (if the GM is okay with it, at least) Also, so many chikas. We need more sausages in this (what's the food that is relevant to female gentialia? Apples? Hamburgers? Buns? Sandwiches? These are probably sexist oop) fest
