Silence. Not golden silence, but dreaded silence. The wind was dead, and flowers in the garden looked somewhat dull. The grass had a dark, icky green that didn't suit the high school at all. Everything felt terrible. Clouds were littering the sky as Lann and Emilia stood with one another side to side remaining silent and quiet. Another minute and another student would stare at them wondering what's up with the two friends. The moment he realised the glance Emilia had given him, he wanted to look back and just open his mouth to say words that would comfort her. When he turned, so did she. She opened her mouth in the exact moment Lann opened his, resulting in a halted voice and chokes as they were unable to speak. It just wouldn't come out. But her tears. The flowing crystals that stroke her cheeks when she turned and run did something inside of him. It was a shot of pain in his chest. Something he hadn't felt in a long time. Not even back at Angelo Boys. Her teary face was vivid in his eyes and he could just feel the way she felt. Did she needed the alone time? Should Lann not follow her? It was a debate that would last for hours in his mind. His feet wanted to move, act in its own accord. His arms wants to wrap them around Emilia and his lips just wants to meet hers. But his brain, all of that made it numb. It started to slowly gross him out, the more he thought about Emilia being his cousin. He just did it with his cousin. If somebody knew of that fact, it was possible that Lann would be locked up in jail. What a sight that'll be for him and his parents. He was unsure. Follow or not to follow? His mind wanted him to just stay away from Emilia, but his heart pounds and wants to follow her. He remained frozen on the ground, watching as Emilia slowly fade into the reserve without a decision. He wondered again. Did she hate him now that we're cousins? If so, then it's better to not follow her right? His right foot sets a step forward. Soon, his left. If he really loved her-- Regardless whether she was his cousin or not, would he let her run into a forest on her own? The answer was a stern no. After deciding that he should run after her, he tried to follow where she was last seen. Looking around the bush and shrubs as he runs past them, he called out for Emilia. "Emilia!" Shouting and looking around the reserve as he walked, with not sight of her as he yelled. He slowly moved along the greenery, continuing to shout for several moments before continuing deeper into the reserve. He couldn't see the school anymore.
