(In my opinion it's a bit rushed, but here's my character) Name: Zephyr Nowack Gender: Male Age: 35 Appearance: Hunter Type: Contact Hunter Nen Type: Enhancement Nen abilities: Metal Cutter: Enhances the durability and sharpness of Zephyr's sword. Winged Sandals: Enhances Zephyr's speed. Armor: Enhances Zephyr's body's durability. Guard: Enhances the durability of Zephyr's sword's sheath. Gigas: Greatly enhances Zephyr's speed, strength, stamina, and durability. Zephyr has made a vow to only use this skill against opposing forces that will absolutely overpower him otherwise. Personality: Zephyr is a man who cares not for who he is hired by or who he has to work with. What he cares about is how much he will be paid for his labor. If he is hired to hunt something, then he will as long as the price is equal to the amount of effort he will put into it. If he finds complications in a hunt, and learns that his employer was aware of it, then he will add a sub-fee. If the complication was mere coincidence (at least as far as he knows), then the price will remain the same. Zephyr is always serious on a hunt, and has an eye for prices. If he thinks the amount he will receive is not fair, he will refuse to take on the hunt. As previously stated, there are instances where might add a sub-fee. If it is not taken, then he will warn his client that he will take the sub-fee in an appropriate amount of their blood instead. History: Zephyr was born to a poor family, and abandoned 2 years after birth. An orphanage took him in, and raised him. Although no parent had chosen him for adoption, he still grew into a fine young man. When he left, he managed to find a job in the city. At first, things were fine for him, but eventually he would lose his first job. For a few years, he had gone from one job to the next, trying to earn himself a living, learning the amount he's given for his labors. Soon enough, his situation had worsened to the point where he could not obtain even the lowest paying of jobs. He was homeless and close to penniless. He took the option to become a Hunter out of desperation. The Hunter Examination was a nightmare to him. People dying or being ripped to pieces all around him. The only reason he survived and passed was through luck and his already large desire to survive. During the exam, he had taken a sword from a corpse in order to have a weapon to defend himself with. There was a situation where he had to cut down a group that had decided to kill him. He survived by running fast, and killing them one at a time. The images haunted him even after passing the exam. Zephyr had been informed that he needed to learn about Nen in order to be accepted as a real Hunter, so he set out to search for a teacher. He found one, or rather one found him. Zephyr was traveling through a desert in search of someone who could teach him about Nen. He had run out of water, and passed out near an oasis. An old man had saved his life, and within a year, taught him about Nen. Having not much time left in his life, the old man made the decision to place Zephyr through initiation. As time went on, Zephyr had gone from one hunt to another, being cheated out of a fair price in several of them. Some employers intentionally withheld information and feigned innocence when approached with complaints about the lack of knowledge. This led to Zephyr's current personality towards people. The only exceptions were those from his orphanage.
