Finally seeming satisfied that the car presented no threat of getting back up Astral relaxed slightly, his form becoming less ridged as he looked towards Alexa out of the corner of his eyes curiously, not saying anything. Kari quickly rose to her feet and ran over to her friend and placed her hands on her shoulders, seemingly ignorant of the being beside them. “Holy shit! Are you okay?! That car just came out of nowhere-” She trailed off and looked towards the wrecked car before them, sitting on its roof and she slowly approached it, kneeling down as she got close and looking inside, immediately wishing she hadn't. “I… I don’t think that guy’s alive…” She said softly as she stood up, looking to the other girl. What should they do? If they called the cops how do they explain this? But if that guy is still alive she couldn’t leave him there to die. He could easily be unconscious. She didn’t know. Finally she called and walked back towards Alexa. “We should call an ambulance…” She said slowly as she drew out her phone, looking at it a little blankly. “But… I… I don’t think we should be around when they show up…” The girl was shaking visibly, which was stupid because she hadn't been anywhere near the danger. Alexa was just starring off into the distance. “Come on,” she said softly, taking the other girl’s arm. “We’re close to your house, I’ll walk you there. Once we’re there I’ll call the ambulance. Okay? Alexa? Are you… alright…” She trailed off and looked over to where the girl was staring but didn’t see anything. “What are you looking at?” She asked as she began leading Alexa away. Astral looked over properly this time, turning his head and tilting it slightly. The other girl seemed unable to see him, which was a curious development. However the one he had saved didn’t seem to be reacting too much to his presence. Maybe she couldn’t see him either. However at the declaration that they were leaving he made a decision to follow them, his body floating effortlessly above the ground.
