Background

Born January 31, 1948, Marcus grew up in a very anticommunist setting, and enlisted to serve in the Vietnam War the day he turned seventeen. He was part of the first wave of ground forces sent into Vietnam in March of 1965. While in Vietnam, he served alongside a man by the name of Robert Leandros, an exceedingly wealthy man from Georgia. Though the two initially did not get along, they soon became like brothers, and the duo served side by side up until the end of the war in 1975. During the war, Robert was, sadly, exposed to Agent Orange, and after they returned to America, he continued to suffer the side effects. Robert offered Marcus a place as his butler back at his estate, and Marcus accepted it. Marcus soon grew accustomed to the life, and considered those at the estate like family to him.
