Ara was fun to be around. He had a sense of humor that apparently a lot of people lacked.

"Though I doubt I’d be invited after all that. Sneak me in under that hat or something will you?”

Carmen chuckled. "That'll be easy," she said. "I could probably sneak half the Academy in. Resident smuggler, right here."

She thought about what she had heard was on the island. "Well, there's this big resort that we've been hanging around now. It's got a small beach shop, the bar, a pool, and stuff like that. Lots of people are over at the pool, if you're interested in socializing and seeing lots of girls wearing very little," she said, jokingly winking at him. "There's also a volleyball net and our houses. Other than that...I think it's just beach? There's probably more but I've forgotten it all," she admitted, shrugging. "Oh! I think there's a place we can train. I'd love to do that at some point. I feel like we all need it," she said, momentarily being serious in her flurry of jollity. "But that can all come with time. What sounds interesting to you? If you're bored you can always show me your doppelganger," she offered. "I'm up for anything!"
