Crash & Mercy - Beach Olympics anyone? So much through traffic in his mind often led to Crash missing out on social cues...well and forgetting things, messing things around. He hadn’t even realized he hadn’t answered her he watched her wave a dismissive hand at his comment, amusement dancing across his eyes though his face visibly felt at what she said next, he adopted a rather sulky expression at the evil chuckle he heard creep from her lips. He huffed before he pushed away from the bar. “What was that...I should try harder to be evil?” He repeated her, mixing around her words deliberately with a cheeky smile crossing his face as he slid into his seat. “I’m kidding...don’t worry so much” He assured her with a quick wink, hesitating as she went to reach for the bowls. “Thank you” He grinned picking up his spoon. “Good memories or bad?” He asked after a few moments. Having pushed the cereal around long enough Crash had literally just brought a spoonful towards his mouth when he noticed Kathy set expectant eyes on him, he lowered the spoon raising an eyebrow at her gesture, a smile flickered across his lips as he rested the spoon back in his bowl. “You got me there” He grinned at her. “I’m a little surprised you’re giving me the option to choose what I tell you after I gave you no choice” He admitted a thoughtful expression apparent on his face as he tried to find something to say that fitted within the rules. Mercy clapped her hands together, this was perfect! This was what everyone needed to do, a bit of action around here before it could become a bit too stale. With a megaphone in hand she danced her way back up towards the resort passing a small group at the restaurant though she didn’t stop to chat she’d grab them on the way back down...no she had to start at the top of the hill and rope in everyone that was there before they dispersed! Arriving back by the pool Mercy’s eyes scanned the people that were still milling about up here, spotting Crash sat with Kathy she felt a smile tug at her lips Aww isn’t it cute, he doesn’t even know...I really must grab a chance to chat to Kathy soon Mercy shook her head, before trotting happily towards the pair. “Sorry to interrupt my lovelies, but I do so require his assistance” She announced her arrival pointing at Crash and watching surprise, possibly relief, definitely fear spread across Crash’s expression at an alarming speed. “I need a boost” She told him with a cheeky grin, “Come again?” Crash frowned at her. Mercy’s eyebrow lifted but she remained silent.“Get over here and lift me up or I will start talking” Mercy threatened watching Crash give Kathy an apologetic look before scrabbling over to her. “...you’re not sitting on my shoulders” Crash told her as she pointed to the ground. “Oh Really?” Mercy raised a coy eyebrow at him, he muttered something under his breath before dutifully leaning down on one knee so Mercy could perch herself atop his shoulders. “I hate you...” Crash murmured. “Up we go” Mercy giggled deviously tapping his head. Crash however was sporting a grin of his own as he lifted her up in a pouf of purple smoke he shifted into an elephant sized Apatosaurus , Mercy was wrapped around his head looking rather the opposite of elegant as she held on for dear life, she jabbed Crash’s red head as he lifted her just high enough that everyone could see her...straddling the head of a wee crimson Apatosaurus...”Ohhh you are so dead when this is over” She assured him out of the corner of her mouth as she smiled at the people giving her peculiar looks, shaking off her initial embarrassment. She lifted the megaphone to her mouth. “Listen up everyone!” She shouted to get their attention, that thing was loud it was the kind of noise that slapped you in the face and demanded you listen. “You are to get your butts down to the beach as soon as possible, down your drinks, scoff your food...well don’t scoff your food you’ll get indigestion...” Mercy announced. Crash cleared his throat noisily. (M)Hmm...oh right focus “Do I hear a why? I’ll tell you why! Because the Beach Olympics are about to start!” She continued on. “I can see a few of you looking at me and wondering what I’m on about...well if you’re that curious you better blooming well get yourself over there to find out!” She told them. (C)Has she been drinking? Or is this sunstroke? “Don’t keep us waiting!” She finally finished, taking the megaphone away from her mouth she grinned happily at the murmur that passed through the students. “Good job, you can put me down now big guy” Mercy told Crash patting his head and holding on as he lowered her to the floor. Once her feet touched the ground she slid off of his head, exhaling once she was stood firmly on solid ground she moved over to Kathy. “Well...that was different” She commented, waiting for Crash to shift back in a pouf of purple smoke, he sheepishly came to stand near them obviously on high alert. “You’ll come won’t you? To the games? You have got to see what they've got going on down there” She grinned at Crash before turning to Kathy looking hopeful. “Right well I’d best get down there...I’m not finished with you” Mercy narrowed her eyes at Crash as she said the last thing, he danced away from her rather rapidly as she passed him. Mercy bounced over to Darwin, Ryuu and Andromeda. “Darwin! You better be joining in these beach games, you two as well...trust me you won’t want to miss this” She grinned at the three of them merrily with a quick wink before she made her way hastily back towards the beach. Skidding to a stop as she came across Dani’s group she eagerly hopped over to them “Alright guys you’ve got 5 minutes before I expect to see you over there” She grinned pointing to a part of the beach further down that at a glance had a peculiar set up of colorful items not quite easily distinguishable from this distance. "No buts no ifs, it's fun time!" Mercy beamed at them before bouncing off towards the peculiar set up.
