Appearance: Nel is small, slight, and pale. In fact, she is incredibly non-threatening. She looks like she'd blow over in a heavy wind. Her hair is light blonde and falls straight to her waist. Her eyes are a pale hazel. She has a gentle smile and a questioning gaze and does her best to dress practically for every occassion. 
Occupation: She works as an agriculture assistant in a greenhouse, helping to provide the city with enough food to feed the soldiers and citizens. She is also working as a medical assistant in the underground rebellion, doing her part to learn as much as she can so that she can help make a difference (and maybe, one day, live in a world without fear). 
Personality: At the end of the day, Nel is a wanderer. She doesn't like staying in one place for too long or she gets antsy. Nel considers herself to be a truth-seeker, and has the curiosity and drive to seek out new people and places. Knowledge fuels her passions, and she fully believes that it is they key to a brighter future.
History: When she'd first fallen ill her family had turned on her. Her mother cried while her father held a gun to her head. Cornered and frightened, she'd changed. One bloody mess later, Nel found herself on the road. Running. At first, she was prepared to run forever. Then she found Jalum and the underground resistance, and with it a new purpose to her life.
