After examining the timeline to the fullest of what I can make out of it. I'm going to go ahead and say we are going after Hyrule's Recovery. Just less train tracks if you know what I mean. In theroy, because of this said timeline, The Twili never invaded, The Mask or Majora was not destroyed or defeated. Seeing as how Termina is adjacent from Hyrule in theory, I might include it as one of the many places to explore. Seeing as how the Great Flood covered huge Foundations of land, I'm going to go with some sort of evolution theory. The minish are dead as far as this goes; they were spirits of the earth, and yet that earth was denied to them by the great flood. In short, they have no reason to be. Zoras, Ruito(Whatever the bird people are called.), Gorons, Deku, Kokiri, Gerudos(With more gender diversity this point in time), Moblins,Bokoblins, Twili, Shiekaninans, Hyrulins(The basic humanoid race) will indeed resurface. Same with the Koroks. (Who are believed to be an evolution of nature from Deku and Kokiri alike.) With that out of the way I am pending the idea of adding another race based on cosmetology. But based around Star namings of a sort, as in types. Gonna go up to four just due to the fact of a race takes a to establish. Weaponry will go from Renaissance to western like. Such as old looking guns, the ones that were not super effective. In short, guns are better for magic casters. Other Mythical weapons for whatever else. And it isn't like Gorons can't take lead to the face or what not. (Bad pun, I know.) This is just a basic draft of what to expect. In this Era there will be different political factors such as Inquisition; not the Spanish type, but the root of the word "Inquire, or "Inquiry." In short people who act as detectives, defend in courts or go against in courts. Basically the people who can make a difference almost immediately to in trials as to why something may be wrong or right. Or just straight up able to use said credible title usurp or abuse power. There will be mercenary companies based around expeditions into uncharted regions, unnamed lands. There too will be unlisted Zelda monsters. Due to this being a Rp, I would advise to keep Puzzles on a Layton level, or just no puzzles or to basic puzzles. Hmm... Triforce will be less needed due to the fact the heroes or villains for the most part are not really able to use it. So it will be less talked about due to the independence of the people. Technology will not be super advanced as one might think. Most you will see is a heated home with a power source to run basic appliances. So we are getting to a revolution in technology, but nothing quite like today. So there will be plumbing for showers, sinks, toilets, there will be lights. There will be refrigeration, but not sure about TV lol. Most they would get TV wise is court decisions, discoveries from expeditions, updates of laws. Nothing super entertainment wise. Thoughts on all this? --- What Lance had to say to that was " The bird people are called the Rito, said to evolve from the Zoras after the great flood. Shiekaninans are just referred to as Shieka. Played right, the races sound pretty solid. I guarantee that you'd get at least one nitpicker with the races (but the Koroks are supposed to be the evolution of the Kokiri! They both can't exist at once!) but I honestly like the diversity. That being said, I'd play it close to the chest when it comes to their change. Y'know, keep them how they are for the most part. The Zora are noble, intelligent, and cultured in the arts, the Deku are fast-talking, shrewd, and sly, Gorons are brutish, loud, and gregarious, etc. I'm sure you'll do a fine job of it, though, but if I were you I'd keep the male population of the Gerudo relatively low even if there's now more than one at a time. Something like 1 in 20 Gerudo being male, or even 1 in 100. Rare, but not so rare as to be extinct. I'm betting you're basing the guns off of lever-action rifles, hammerlock shotguns and pistols, blunderbusses, muskets, things like that? I think that's pretty neat, and having weak guns like muskets would definitely make swordplay and melee combat more of an option. I think what you're thinking about would be a kind of "Settler" or "Manifest Destiny" period, where the countries are forming? With the new laws that come out maybe there are many land disputes as more and more people travel further into uncharted territory? That'd give it a kind of Wild West feel, methinks. Maybe have less electrically charged appliances and amenities and more steampunk clockwork type of devices, like what was hinted at in Spirit Tracks or Twilight Princess. I'm just throwin' stuff out there, I really like your ideas! I already have a character in mind and I haven't even seen in your mind's eye what this is going to play like yet." --- My response was Well... I sorta have a pistol using mage. Rito and Zoras can co-exist in my opinion. Be mindful this is further from Spirit tracks or it's equal opposite (Aka other timelines) But yes, the people of the new ages are differently spreading around outside of New Hyrule. 5 out of 20 are male Gerudos. Shieka are more common by the palace and new Kakoriko. I know how the other races are. An Inquisitive race will be the Lumarians, some see them as descenders (aliens). They are few and said to have mild physic abilities. (Such as throwing or pulling objects with their mind or seeing into one's heart) Elegant based on living accommodations. Steam generated electricity? Some what like the settler idea, every day people caught up with things to be seen as a hero's task at times; drifters really. --- How about that?
