Alexa noticed Astral looking at her pendant and pulled it away, hiding it in her hands and glaring at him. He was real alright, but she would deal with him later. Stuffing the crystal back into her shirt, Alexandria turned to face Kari, who was clearly distraught. [i] I might be going mad, but i certainly don't need her calling the hospital on me...[/i]

"This pendant, it's a.... good luck rock, that's why i didn't get hit by the car." Her voice was nervous and unsure, but in no way as frazzled as it had been moments earlier. "I'm sorry, I think I might just be seeing things, that entire experience was too much for me to handle. I'm fine, I just need a good nights sleep is all." Alexa quietly sat on the bed and patted the spot next to her, Tommy hopping up and pressing his head up into her hand. Outside their window the sounds of an ambulance could be heard, and they could see clearly the body being removed from the scene. "Looks like that's a problem we won't need to worry about," she said under her breath, "A neighbor must have seen and reported it."

"Thank you for bringing me home," Alexa looked up after a good ten minutes of silence. "I think i need some time to myself though... would you like me to walk you home or..."
