Spam hasn't really been like that for, idk, a year or so? The only people who really get harassed nowadays are the really annoyingly stupid people. Most new faces just stroll on in and have no issues. Ask idlehands how well or poorly she was treated when she first joined Spam, for instance.

Most of the people who were xenophobic idiots about the place either left or realized that they were being idiots quite a while ago. So long as people around running around spouting dumb shit that would get them a backhand elsewhere in the forum too, they do just fine in Spam.
