Glad to see another AC fan around the board, and glad you're interested too! 
To give you an answer, the plane will be primarily real-world ones, but the ones available initially for the players will have received modifications to keep them 'up to date' and competitive with modern aircraft, as used by the enemy. 
There will also be some of the fictional planes from Ace Combat and elsewhere making an appearance, though when and where will be something I'd like to keep secret, so it's a surprise when it happens. Especially since not all of them will be from AC.
