Since I don't see anything happening IC, perhaps I can put up my character app. Name: Drake “Rat” Romeros Age: 28 Gender/Sexuality: Male/Bisexual (Slightly Homosexual) Main Skill: Chemistry (Drugs, Explosives) Secondary Skills: Street Smarts, Pistoleer, Runner Quirk: In the lab, he prefers not to be distracted and focus on his craft of making quality designer drugs to the client’s demands, to crude explosives out of household cleaners if necessity demands it. Oddity: His crass and rude behavior. He’s not known to be a gentleman in any case, as his cynical and dark humor puts off as most people that label him mildly psychotic are right. To him, it can be a bit justified as the majority of Metro-Tokyo are just people who eat, sleep, consume, and die at the behest of their wealthy overlords. Flaw: Short temper and Rebel. He is known for outbursts of anger and having fits around people who are either MetPo, who flaunt their wealth and status, and people who disapprove of his smoking habit. Secret Weapon: Street Rat. Despite not being a native to the area, he lived most of his life down in the poorer levels of Metro-Tokyo where life was rough. He knows where to hide within the run-down anarchy where the police rarely enforce. Goal in Life (Meta): Find a partner, buy a lab to make whatever he wants (obviously drugs), and provide himself enough cash to live comfortably. Goal in Life (Immediate): Provide enough for himself and not get killed by trigger-happy MetPo thugs or gang members that would want him dead. Reason-He-Will-Ultimately-Win: His knack for crafting drugs makes him valuable to gangs and individuals that are willing to pay the price for his services and the materials that he needs. Molotov cocktails, to car bombs, and for the right price, he can be a valuable asset as long they aren't too pushy. Reason-He-Will-Ultimately-Fail: The lab that he desires are ones that are A) owned by drug syndicates, 2) owned by companies that work closely with the MetPo, and 3) ridiculously expensive that even your run-of-the-mill middle class man can’t afford. He knows that his trade might even catch the eye of The Metropolitan Armed Forces that will brand him a terrorist. He isn't even safe from pissed off kingpins with bigger egos than his biggest explosions with shorter tempers that would want his head if he attempts to flip out on them. But a man can dream, can he? Short Bio: Although born in the Megacity of Metro La Paz, his parents were able to scrape by enough money to escape the corrupted drug cartel infested tyranny to find a brighter future on Metro-Tokyo before he could even remember, but to him, he sees little difference in where he lives now and where he was born. Perhaps, it’s the consumerism, something in the air, or the fact that living in a poor favela in Asia makes you stick out just enough? Regardless, he always stood in with a bunch of weird folks like him and recently earning a Master’s in Chemistry that was paid by a scholarship that made him move up just a bit above his parents status now. Despite having a formal job and a good pay, he is growing increasingly bored with the stagnating routine of his life and willing to make gang connections with his invaluable skills. (EDIT: Fixed some grammar. Nothing to important.)
