Astral’s eyes shot up at her as she spoke, breaking the silence of the room. His strange eyes locked with her and he sat there silently for a long time, as if he were evaluating something in his mind. Eventually he took a deep breath and exhaled slowly, before speaking again after his long bout of silence. “Astral.” He said softly, like last time it was a soft, soothing voice and it was hard to tell exactly what emotion was behind it. It was one of those voices that just installed calm in those who heard it and it showed he clearly didn’t think himself a threat to her. “My name is Astral… if I recall.” His face became slightly troubled at this statement and he cast his eyes downward again in thought. In all honesty he wasn’t sure. “But I am afraid that is all I can tell you. For not only do I not recall who I am, but I do not recall much of anything, before meeting you that is.” His eyes looked back up to sharply, focusing on the girl as if he were trying to figure her out. Why was he here? Why could he not remember? Why her? She seemed just as confused as he was, and he could sense she was still hesitant around him, scared. However he was not sure what to say to calm this fear.
