Recap: Basically, Admiral Maddox's 'Task Force Sabre' were about to clash with an ET fleet detachment as a sort of intimidation method. If the humans win this battle in a decisive fashion, it should in theory strike a blow to enemy morale. Have some music for zis moment! ---------- "Captain, enemy mobile dolls deploying from their carrier-classes!" A watch-stander called up to the captain of the Minerva-class vessel, the 'Furious'. "All mobile suit teams, be advised: the enemy's smaller vessels seem to be hangars for their remote-controlled mobile weapons. If you can get within range without getting shot to pieces, we'd appreciate if you could knock out entire enemy squads at the same time." The Captain reported over the open comm channel, before tending to anti-ship matters. "Zerenis, Izumi, Lucia... Be careful out there. Maddox's strategies are costly, but effective. Don't die - that's an order." Maddox's voice blared over the open channel just as the enemy suits finished deploying, "All ships, engage the nearest enemy units and continue advancing through their formation! Don't give them a second to breathe!" ---------- Izumi Zala in the Saviour Gundam, and Lucia Valentine in the Blast Impulse were flying alongside their team leader as the battle began. Flurries of beams, missiles and railguns were exchanged between the alien fleet, and the combined human fleet. The so dubbed 'mobile dolls' were wreaking havoc among the MS teams that weren't prepared for their speed and killing efficiency, so that problem may have to be addressed before anything else. The least they could do was try and clear a path, and then knock out some of the smaller 'hangar' ships the ETs were using. Fortunately, those ships were in closer range than anything else, but all the fleet firepower was currently focused on the enemy heavy cruisers and battleships. "Well, boss... This is it." Lucia said, as if expecting this to all go wrong. Izumi could be heard sighing on her end of the three-way comm channel, "Keep it together, Luci'. Kinda not expecting to die here..."
