On the outskirts of a large city there is a huge asylum. This asylum was established to care for individuals with mental illness. The asylum has an excellent reputation of being able to help those with mental illnesses. What the residents don't know is that the asylum has recently changed hands. The asylum is now run by a doctor named Vlad Putin. Vlad believes if he studies these individuals he can find a cure for every mental illness. To do this he is willing to try many different experiments on the residence. Not everything is what it seems. Vlad has many secrets hidden within the walls of the asylum.

Bio: It all started when Aiden was born. Aiden was born to parents who lived in the streets and didn't want children, and because of this he didn't receive the right care and love to properly develop. Aiden didn't receive the love he needed within the first 7 month of his infancy and as a result he developed without a conscience. It wasn't long before he was taken away and put up for adoption. At the orphanage they always knew that he was different. Nobody seemed to want to adopt him, and all the other children didn't take kindly to him. Little did they know he couldn't differentiate between good and evil. Everything around him was just another mean to an end. Everyone, and everything was his tool. After years of controlling the children in the orphanage the long awaited day came when Aiden would turn 18. But the day before he was to be released someone came in and took him away. It was a Dr. from a mental institution. He was taking Aiden away because some of the other children had came forward and told of what Aiden was doing and how they all thought he was scary. This man was going to take him to an Asylum where hopefully they could figure out a cure to this disease. Aiden spent three years in the Asylum. The doctor could come to no avail, the patient seemed to be perfectly fine but he knew it was all just a rouse that this young man was putting forward to get out. Unfortunately with no progress the Dr. was released and a new Dr. was brought in. Dr. Vlad Putin. It was time for Aiden to put on his best mask.[/hider]

Mental Illness: Bipolar Disorder
Biography: Esther was born with dyslexia, which really is not something most people have to worry about too much. Dyslexia is a common disorder that can be fixed with the right guidance and education. Unfortunately, Esther's dyslexia was atypical. As opposed to her reading being disrupted or letter differentiation, her emotions were affected. When was happy, she appeared sad. When she was sad she seemed happy. To make matters even more difficult (she does find herself in a mental asylum, after all), she was a stoic child, adolescent and young woman. Eventually, sometime during her high school years, she began seeing and hearing voices. This also happened around the time when she and her high school sweetheart (who she is no longer dating or seeing) were investing much of their time into sci-fi and aliens.
When Esther graduated from high school, she went off to college. It must have been the change and/or all the stress from college work that triggered nightmares or night terrors that left Esther paralyzed for several seconds to minutes after awaking from sleep. These became regular, and somehow during her first semester at college, she found herself in a psyche ward due to psychotic behaviors. Her parents came to her rescue, arguing she would get better. She was stable! She could live as an outpatient!
Now, at age 22, she has been living in an asylum for almost one year, now. Her parents were starting to go insane just having her around the house. Graduating from college was now turning into a distant dream, but she has not given up all hope, yet.[/hider]

Mental illness: Schizophrenia
Bio: Delta was born to a loving family who lived on a small farm. She was always a bit of a loner, never really making any friends. She would go out into the woods alone rather than going to play with the children from the nearby farms, and at school she would always just read or do homework at recess. Her parents never really thought much about it, but they also didn't like her going into the woods alone so they got her a collie puppy that she named Sable. 
The year she turned 9 had been a bad year for tornados. Several of the other farms around them had serious damage from the storms, but their farm had been lucky. Until, that was, the last predicted storm of tornado season. The storm got bigger than anyone had predicted. No one had thought there would be a tornado that day, so her family hadn't taken any of their normal precautions. An hour after the storm had let loose the family got word that there was a tornado near them, but so far it hadn't touched down yet though. They debated weather to try to save the animals or just to hide themselves, and the family decided to try to get the animals in. They worked together to get everything into the barn and other buildings, and they nearly succeeded.
As the tornado hit Delta remembers seeing debris flying through the air, and seeing the roof get torn off of the barn where her parents were waiting for her to arrive with Sable and the last goat. She passed out shortly after.
When she woke up in the hospital she realized that she couldn't hear, and the doctors had to write everything out to be able to talk to her. They told her that a piece of metal had been flying so fast with the wind that it had imbedded itself in her auditory cortex causing her deafness, and there was no way they could get it out without risking killing her. When she asked about her parents and Sable she was told that her parents were killed when the tornado actually ran over the barn knocking it down completely, and no collie had been found on the farm. While she was in the hospital rehabilitating she was taught how to understand sign language and read lips. 
Also while she was in the hospital, she started noticing two women in her room a lot, and they weren't nurses. They never tried to speak to her until she knew sign. That was when they started signing to her. One was dark and cold. She only ever said that Delta was the reason her parents were dead. The other was warm, inviting, and looked very similar to Delta's mother. She would always try to comfort her when Delta let the other one get to her. Over the months her feelings of guilt grew to become delusional. As her feeling turned delusional she stated talking less and less, and just before she was released she was diagnosed as schizophrenic. She had no family left so she was released to the asylum at the age of 10.
For the first few years at the asylum she let her guilt eat away at her causing her to stay pretty quiet and not do much, but for the past few years she had been doing better with the help of therapy. With the help of the therapists she has learned(chosen) to pay more attention to the light woman (Dawn) and ignore the dark woman (Jolene). Another thing that has seemed to help greatly in the past year is that one of the therapists recommended a therapy dog for her, and she was given a miniature poodle named Tinkerbell.
She recently transferred into this asylum when her old, small town one shut down.[/hider]

Usually wears dresses and comes with a old fashioned wheel chair.Mental illness: delusions and bipolar depression.Sarah was a orphan as long as she could remember jumping from home to home. One day she was back cleansing up at her bed when a lady in a black dress showed up and started singing. Her song just made Sarah so happy that she just sat on her bed singing. One of the nuns came up and started yelling at her for slacking of on her job but Sarah couldn't hear her. The nun started to shake the little girl to no avail. When the nun picked her up and carried her to the head nuns office and that nun started to yell when she couldn't see or hear the lady anymore all she could hear was the yelling. Her life then on was a hole she couldn't climb out of, the nuns always watching her, the other kids being mean because they couldn't hear the singing but half of it was in her head. Another week more and more she tried to drown out the laughing. She was taken to a psychiatrist by one of the foster parents that cared a little, she was diagnosed with bipolar depression and delusions. She was quickly given medicine and sent to psychotic hospital. While in the kids department at age 13 she was trampled by a rush of doctors trying to get to the kid have a seizure behind her fracturing her leg. To make matters worse the doctors then throughout she had a bipolar disorder and started to treat her for that. In all of this matter the combined drugs messed up her delusions till she was screaming for no apparent reason. Her delusions got so bad that she was confined to a wheel chair for the sake of her hurting herself. She was allowed out of the chair after the bipolar medicine was canceled and the new shrink through she had recovered but she never left the chair she thinks it's safety and won't leave the chair she now just uses it as her home and when she was transpired to the asylum she kept nothing but the dresses she could wear that where comfortable in her chair. Other things: she doesn't talk much and talks or sings to her self a lot.

Mental illness: Auditory and Visual Hallucinations
Bio: When Walt was 10, he was kidnapped, and locked in a dark room. The person would come once a day to bring him food and water. One day, he started to experience the hallucinations. They were his loved ones, telling him to kill the kidnapper and escape. He tried to resist, but eventually, the voices got so demonic that he ended up killing the person to escape. But the voices didn't stop there. He was told to do lots of stuff, mainly robbing stores. Eventually, he was caught and sent to the asylum

She has been diagnosed with major depression disorder, schizophrenia, and bipolar disorder. 
Kenzi has been in the asylum four over five years now, after having an episode in front of her parents and almost killing her younger sister. She's smart, sarcastic, and not scared to stand up to the system. She absolutely detests her family, and doesn't trust any of the staff at the asylum. She tries her hardest to stay out of trouble, but if you cross her or give her sass, she'll make you wish you were never born.[/hider]
