Eilidh MacLeod, Green Lantern of Sector 2814 - Currently re-entering Earth's atmosphere It had gotten a headstart. That wasn't good. That wasn't good at all. Eilidh incoherently cursed as she dove towards the blue ball that had once been her sole jurisdiction, sheathed in green light to protect her during re-entry. It had seemed innocuous enough as it was approaching Earth, but... A quick scan had revealed it to be something far more sinister. It had even seemed to realise her ring was analysing it, as it soon increased speed on its way towards her home planet, leaving her behind as she contacted the Corps for advice. What she heard from them... Wasn't exactly reassuring. Apparently this... Thing had been sighted across many different worlds before, and soon after it arrived on them, they seemed to disappear. This, of course, was not something she wanted to happen to Earth as well, and she made quickly sped off after it. She didn't bother calling for assistance. After all, from what she'd learned about those tiny blue bastards in charge of things, they'd probably just say it was Sector 2814's problem, and thus she had sole responsibility for what happened. Hurtling faster and faster through the air, she subtly altered her heading as she followed the ship's energy signature. It seemed to have headed straight for Metropolis... Good, that meant that at least it would be kept busy for a while. Whilst she wouldn't admit it, Superman was probably the most powerful being on the planet, and if anything could keep that thing at bay, it was him. "...Oh, ye cannae be serious..." The bolt of green light slowed down as it reached the planet's surface, and Eilidh's palm meet her forehead as she grumbled irritably. There was Superman, the Man of Steel, Earth's mightest hero... Being manhandled by the source of the energy signature, which seemed to be a lot more giant robot-y than she remembered it being earlier. At least the other Leaguers were figuring out a plan to save him, but... "I swear, I leave th' planet fir a day and ye all go an' bugger things up, don't ye?" she growled, hovering nearby Batman and company. "I'd tell ye that this bazzer is prob'ly gonnae erase the whole fuggin' planet, but knowin' Bats 'ees already figured it oot."
