She wasn't fussing to look pretty for anyone, she just had a rough night and needed to feel not so hurried, like she looked decent enough for the public eye...and besides, even small details can make you unrecognisable to the passing stranger. "and they hang out at bars." She said nothing about his comments about hair changing, though she did smile a bit at his joke. It seemed like he didn't really care what color her hair was, she she decided to not ask about her looks when she was around him....why had she been looking for his approval in the first place? She shrugged off the question, chalking it up to her upbringing. She pulled out a thing from ehr purse and started cleaning her nails. Somewhere in the midst of her running around, she had gotten the undersides of her nails dirty. When he asked about how she became a vampire, she paused, but didn't stop. "oh...you know...I was marrying age and rebellious. Dad would set me up with his favorite suitors. and I went after those he didn't like." she said it with an almost bored tone. Finishing up her nails, she sighed and sat back in her seat. "One of those men decided it would be funny to show me why I should have respected my father's wishes."
