THE FARMLANDS The farmlands are in the center of Castanet, here are where most of the local farms are in the heart of the island. Beautiful and spacious, the Farmland plains are perfect for those who are wanting to raise animals or garden their little green thumbs out. CURRENT FARMS/RANCHES: [ NONE ] B. HARMONICA TOWN Harmonica Town is along the coast of Castanet Island, it has a port and local shops. In Harmonica Town there is also a school, along with a residential district, and a local fish market, which brings in fresh fish every morning. CURRENT SHOPS/HOMES: [ NONE ] C. CHURCH GROUNDS Celesta Church is located here, along with a local daycare which is ran by the church's pastor. Confessions are given every Monday and Wednesday from 5PM to 8PM, along with sermons every Sunday beginning at 8AM until 1PM. Some of the local festivals are also held in the church's courtyard and the church grounds. D. GARMON MINE DISTRICT Across the bridge is the the Garmon Mine District which consists of several hobby shops and craft stores. Along with the shops come their respective owner's homes and at the end of the road comes the entrance of the Garmon Mines. CURRENT SHOPS/HOMES: [ NONE ] E. MOUNTAIN TOP Along the side of the Garmon Mines lies a pathway that takes you around and to the top of the mines. At the top is one of the most beautiful scenes and unique rock formations that was said to once be the grounds and home of the Harvest King. F. WOODS AND GODDESS SPRING Near the Garmon Mines lies a path into the woods. Through the lush trees and dense bushes is a hidden spring once said to be the home of the Harvest Goddess. Currently it is mostly occupied by the wild animals and youths of Harmonica Town as a local and favored hangout. G. FUGUE FOREST The Fugue Forest is home to many wild plants and animals which play an active role to the natural life of Castanet Island. You can find special mushrooms and herbs hidden in the forest, but you must be careful because the Fugue Forest is a maze and a half to get through. H. FLUTE FIELDS Flute Fields is another district where there are residents and shops, along with more plots and lands for farms and gardens. The fields are also home to many wild animals and also to the local watermill that helps mill wheat and other crops. CURRENT FARMS/RANCHES/SHOPS/HOMES: [ NONE ] I. TOUCAN ISLAND A native island that is only a ferry ride away from the mainland. Toucan Island is a favored vacation destination, which also houses a few locals and shops, along with an inn. Along the shorelines of Toucan Island is also known to have some of the best and freshest fish. CURRENT SHOPS/HOMES: [ NONE ] [/CENTER] [/HIDER] [HIDER=FESTIVALS][B]SPRING[/B] 1ST: New Years Festival - In celebration of the New Year, a big party and celebration is thrown at the Church filled with food, laughter, and fun throughout the day in honor of the new year with everyone in Harmonica Town. 12TH: Sowing Festival - A festival where the townsfolk send off balloons into the air as the Harvest King and Goddess ride a hot air balloon and sow seeds across Castanet in honor of the Harvest King and Harvest Goddess. Both the Harvest King and Harvest Goddess are selected in the Fall during the Harvest Festival. 14TH: Flower Festival - The festival is held at the Celesta Church Grounds and it is a festival in honor of the blooming and budding of the flowers in Harmonica Town. It is a great festival to buy exotic flowers and flower seeds, along with other perfect gifts for your significant others. There is also a town showcase where the young women of Harmonica participate in a dance together with one another. During the night of the Flower Festival there is a ball held where couples can att4end with one another. It's primarily known as the perfect festival to bring a date. 28TH: Animal Festival / Horse Races - In honor of all the farmers, ranchers, and pet owners in Harmonica a festival is held to showcase all the wonderful livestock they grow and love. Contests of the most delicious milk, silkiest wool, most talented pet, and much, much more are held. Along with that is the annual Spring Horse Races which is full of fun and excitement. 30TH: Egg Festival - To end the Spring, Harmonica Town hosts an egg contest where the mayor hides colored eggs all throughout Castanet and teams of five go around the island in search of these colored eggs. The ones who bring back all the different colored eggs win special gifts and prizes. A day filled of fun and teamwork. [B]SUMMER:[/B] 7TH: Firefly Festival - The Firefly Festival is a night of summer romance. A couple usually sets out to the beach or nearby river and lights and watches as a flower boat floats down the river or into the sea. 17TH - 19TH: Summer Festival - The Summer Festival is a three-day event, kicking off with a town barbeque on the 17th, a fishing tournament and contest on the 18th, and ending with a fun swimming contest on the 19th. 30TH: Firework Festival - On the final day and night of the summer a festival is held at the Harmonica Town beach where a fireworks display will be set off that night. It's a wonderful festival to end the summer with and kick-off for the Fall. [B]FALL:[/B] 4TH: Harvest Festival - In the beginning of the season, a festival is held in honor of the Harvest King and Harvest Goddess. One male and one female are randomly selected to become this years annual Harvest King and Harvest Goddess and receive fun gifts and prizes, along with honorary positions of other events such as the Sowing Festival and Flower Festival in the Spring and the Spirit Festival in the Winter. 17TH: Moon Viewing Festival - The night is known for being one of the nights for the perfect date. Both new and old couples spend an evening admiring the moon and gazing at the stars from different locations throughout town. 20TH: Crop Festival - A festival in honor of crops and a good harvest. A few contests are held, such as the honorary Crop Contest where those who grew vegetables and fruits enter one of their best crops and compete with one another and another fun-filled event where teams of four are put together and have a fun time throwing tomatoes at one another. It's in honor of a years harvest and a time of fun for everyone. 28TH: Horse Races - To end the Fall the Fall Horse Races are held. Same as the Spring one, it's a day filled of excitement and entertainment as all those involved hope to win big during the races. [B]WINTER:[/B] 6TH: Thanksgiving - During the beginning of Winter Thanksgiving is held where you give and receive sweets and treats, usually cakes or cookies, to those around town with who you appreciate. Cookie and cakes can be bought through the bakery or be homemade. 18TH: Starry Night Festival - A festival held where like the Moon Viewing Festival, where couples take a romantic evening to themselves and watch and gaze at the moon and the stars. 28TH: Spirit Festival - Ending the year off is the Spirit Festival. Both the Harvest King and Harvest Goddess participate in an honorary performance of dancing with one another and showcasing the beautiful and exotic instruments of Castanet. The King and Goddess hosts a musical performance with those of their choosing of the townsfolk and showcase their talents and instruments. The dancing of the King and Goddess are also held that night at the Spirit Festival Gala, ending the year off with grace.
