[u][b]History[/b][/u]: Ryu was raised in the Uchiha clan as the son of one of the more known members. His father may not have been a leader among their clan but he was fairly well known for his abilities in combat. While in school he was ranked in the top 5 of his class and wsa shown to have inherited his fathers ability in combat. Having learned the Fire Ball Jutsu fairly quickly he was able to refine it and almost master it by the time he was a Chunin and the First Shinobi War started. During the war he fought with a team of 8 fellow class mates and was one of only 2 to survive. His best friend was on that team and was killed in battle. Ryu still feels guilty about that to this day seeing it as his fault for not being able to reach him in time to save him. After becoming a Jonin he requested and was denied entry into the ANBU Black Ops unit so he decided to continue going on missions and has recently requested to train a team of Genin.
