Eros only watched at first, not quite sure how she was supposed to react as the girl slowly edged towards her, taking the smallest steps it was physically possible to make whilst still moving forward. Hell, she was sure she'd seen snails take bigger steps than the girl, and they didn't even have legs. Still, she let the girl keep on edging, letting the cigarette in her hands numb any feelings she actually had over the matter. Besides, the girl didn't look like she could ever be much of a threat, looking like more of a runner than a fighter, and Eros wasn't the kind of girl that couldn't handle herself. Admittedly, she wasn't strong, never had been, years of damaging her body in the name of beauty had ensured that, any muscle she once had eaten away by her own body as it desperately clutched to whatever food it could find to keep the vital cells functioning, her cold heart still beating, because she sure as hell wasn't feeding it. What she lacked in strength she made up in intelligence, she liked to think, having been in the top sets at her school all the way up until she ended up dropping out, pulled away from a good life by her own selfish actions. Not that she'd ever admit it that, oh no. Admitting it was her own fault that she ended up in the South was never going to happen, not while she could help it. By the time Eros was pulled back to reality, the girl had managed to scuttle even further forward, a sudden surge of confidence sending her even further forwards until the gap was finally closed, Eros having managed to not move an inch during the entire process. She offered the woman another warm smile, disregarding the fact that she'd been ignored when she spoke on the grounds that the girl was clearly quite strange. An anomaly, so to speak. She seemed confident yet nervous at the same time, and, whilst Eros was fairly sure she wasn't on any sort of drug, she couldn't help but question the erratic behavior. 'Maybe she just has problems,' she thought to herself, but, then again, didn't everyone round here? Shrugging the thought away, her face quickly contorted into a confused delight as the watch was offered up to her, some sort of welcome gift or present. Whatever it was, she wasn't about to deny it just because it was off a stranger. She loved presents, always had done and always would do. "Thank you, honey," she drawled, accepting the watch as gracefully as she could, even swapping her cigarette into her other hand so she could clasp it with her more stable fingers, running her thumb over the face of the watch. "I - uh - can I do something for you, or?" she quickly added, raising a delicate eyebrow at the girl, finally able to really, properly look at her now she was closer. She had the familiar traits of someone from the South - slim figure, almost ill looking, but she was short too, standing at just under five foot, or, she looked it anyway. Still, she was pretty, Eros couldn't deny that, maybe even beautiful. Her gaze continued to flicker from the girl to the watch, fingers still gently brushing against the surface as she waited for some sort of response.
