Spinning at her sudden appearance Issac backed up standing between Cara, and Clary.
Issac taking a moment to listen responded "Listen Cara, I have no idea what you're talking about, I'm pretty sure we all just met you the other day! I never said a word to you before that, and if you thought it was meant as an insult it wasn't, just never had a topic."
As he spoke he was slowly backing Clary up while staying in front of her,never letting his nervousness show.
