[center]When the other girl crept from the bushes, taming an arrow at Skye's face, she began to whimper every so quietly. Benvolio continued to growl, his teeth pointed at the other girl in a fierce, aggressive manner. [i][b]"Who inquires such matters? And why should such a knave as yourself deserve answers?"[/b][/i] The girl put her hand over the dog's ears, patting him softly on the head, [b]"Benny, enough," [/b] she whispered, looking at the second girl with eyes filled with terror. She began to move backwards slowly, [b]"I-I'm not. . "[/b], she looked for answers, but she felt her voice cave in. She could not muster herself to speak and her heart was racing. [i]Thump. Thump. Thump.[/i] That agonizing pounding. . ! It had to stop! The dog's ears suddenly thwarted upward, as did his head as he let out a righteous bark. He did so for a moment or so, barking which almost seemed like thunder to Skye. It was what Benvolio said that had gotten the girl's attention: [b][i]"The knave has a Guardian!"[/i][/b][/center]
