Oh my god, I've written more bio for this character than I've did for any other in my life, phew. Hope you like it! Character Sheet Name: Matthew Tailor (anglicized name, the Hungarian naming system is different, they put the family name before the first name) Nickname/Callsign: Swift Age: 29 Nationality: Hungarian Appearance: Bio: Matthew always liked to live for the thrill and the excitement. When he was younger, he liked to engage in extreme sports. Eventually, he became old enough to choose a job. His parents had a company dealing with logistics and they wanted him to work alongside them and one day become the successor. However, he couldn't imagine himself sitting next to papers and doing administrative work all day long and such, he turned to his grandfather. He was a fighter pilot at WWII. Unfortunately, he fought for the losing side and as such he was imprisoned for several years after the war. The old man told Matt all about his experiences at the airforce and the cousin felt that this is what he wants to do. After a great amount of training, Matt was finally enlisted at the Hungarian Air Force. Starting out as a rookie pilot only sent to simple missions, he quickly rose through the ranks thanks to his great reflexes and being able to stay sharp at the most dangerous situations, earning him the nickname "Swift". However, little did he know that his rise to prominence will be stopped abruptly. One day, he and two from his squadron was sent out to Poland to help the local air force deal with a small amount of unidentified fighters in Polish airspace, heading towards Warsaw. The planes did not comply to the orders to reveal themselves after multiple warnings, so they had to shoot down one, which made the rest turn around and leave towards Germany. However, on the way home, he received a distress call from Debrecen, a city in Eastern Hungary, next to Romania, stating that numerous unmarked bombers and fighters coming seemingly out of nowhere attacked it. Even though he pressed his aircraft as hard as he could, he couldn't arrive to the city in time. Most of it was engulfed in flames, its once beautiful monuments destroyed. Matthew himself could barely turn around and get out of the destruction as well, but his two companions were not that lucky, as they were both shot down on the retreat. He felt the soul crushing pain of a tragedy for the first time there and swore to avenge the deaths of the thousands of innocent people. Finally arriving at the headquarters in Budapest, the capital of Hungary, he went to the General, asking for more information about the incident. To his biggest shock, he accused him as the traitor. Trying to defend himself saying that he was in Poland at the time of the incident, the man said that he has trusted sources stating that there was only one fighter there with the HAF's insignia and it was his. This incident singlehandedly put a stop to his career as a pilot, he was excommunicated from the airforce Not willing to give up and determined to find the real traitor, Matt travelled to the UK and was soon employed by the Royal Air Force, who were willing to overlook his apparent treason. He spent one year there mostly doing routine missions and this is where he developed love for the SEPECAT Jaguars as well. However, one day something happened that changed the course of everything...Heavenfall. Quickly called back to Hungary in order to help defend the country from incoming attacks from the neighbouring countries. His country was surrounded by mountains and as such the catastrophes did not do as much damage to it. This however attracted the attention of other countries and they soon launched numerous attacks on it, attempting to take food, goods or technology with them by force. These matters were only partially solved by the rise of a new, common enemy, the UNWO. Matthew, as a talented and experienced pilot, was called in to take part in the newly started ace team of the UN, the alliance Hungary was part of, called Excalibur Squadron. Service Record: One year of service at the HAF (Hungarian Air Force), thrown out for treachery. After that, another one year at the British Royal Air Force. Finally, he was called back to his homeland to help fight off the subsequent offensives from the neighbouring countries.
