Theo is rather short for his age, standing at 5'0 exactly, and he sports messy, shoulder-length auburn hair. Theo's hair has a tendency to fall in front of his eyes, so he's constantly fiddling with it. He has a rather thin face with prominent cheekbones and a small nose. His eyes are larger with pupils that are a bright amber color and thin eyelashes. Theo is skinny for his age, but isn't necessarily muscular or 'well-built'. He has thin lips and fairly sharp hipbones. He has a slightly long neck which is also fairly skinny, making him look slightly feminine. However, his large Adam's Apple and deep voice say otherwise. His skin tone is slightly tan, reflecting back to his mother being partially Korean. 

Theo's normal outfits consist of a black undershirt with a blue runner's jacket with a white stripe running down from the shoulder down the sleeve on both sides and down the very middle along where the the zipper is. He also alternates between wearing black sweatpants and jeans. He can always be seen wearing a small gas mask, either on his face or around his neck. The mask doesn't cover the eyes and only covers up the mouth and nose. His shoe of choice is normally high top sneakers. 

[b]Personality:[/b] 
Theo is generally a cold individual. He's quiet and tends to have a cynical look on the world. He doubts a lot of things and has trouble developing trusting bonds with a lot of people. However, he does like giving help to those who he feels needs it. He has the type of personality where he believes that he could have more influence of the 'justice' of the world and as such he can come off as judgmental and rude. This isn't the case, however, as it's just him trying to figure out how good of a person someone is. He has a few ticks when it comes to how he's feeling. When he's nervous, Theo has a tendency to twiddle the fingers on his left hand or snap. When angry, his eyebrow will occasionally twitch or he'll bite his lip. Contrary, when he's happy, he'll blink frequently. 

Theo usually prefers a more 'lone wolf' demeanor, so if he feels like he's getting to close with people, he might distance himself. He isn't fond of getting hurt emotionally, so avoiding relationships can tend to come has a high priority. 

[b]Relationship with Parent/Guardian: [/b] 
Theo is very close with his mother, as his father was out of the picture and left their family when Theo was only a year old. Theo's mother is originally from Korea, while his father was from England. Theo's mother has always been a rather frail woman, so he attempts to take care of her as much as he can. He provides for her and cooks for her often since she's frequently plagued with illnesses. He's never minded having to take care of her and is usually very kind around his mother despite how he acts and appears otherwise to the rest of the world. 

[b]Brief Biography: [/b] 
Theo was born in South Korea and soon after his birth, his father abandoned their family. He was raised solely by his mother and her sister which probably contribute to some of his more feminine tendencies. Life was fairly good for him up until he was around twelve years old. A civil war had broke out between South Korea and North Korea. Houses were frequently attacked, raided, gassed, and bombed. People died every day. Theo stopped going to the school and stayed home to protect his mom. Eventually it turned out that they were low on supplies to survive on. 

Theo tried to visit his aunt, only to find that her house had been destroyed. An old gas mask sat off to the side of the wreckage. Theo didn't know if it'd be useful later or not,but he'd heard of the gas bombs that the North Koreans had. He didn't stay long to search the wreckage, though, and fled back home, sliding the gas mask around his neck. On his way, he saw soldiers filling the streets, attacking the houses. Screams clouded the air. Theo panicked and rushed home as fast as he could. His mother had been ill since the war started, so she was in bed when he returned. He attempted to get his mom out of bed, but she was weak and had trouble standing on her own. 

An explosion rang out outside and a sound like steam sliding through a tight space echoed through the air. Soldiers had released poison gas outside. Theo pulled his mom along, eventually having to practically carry his, luckily petite, mother on his back. He saw the gas starting to flow in through open windows and tore the gas mask off his neck and handed to his mom, wanting her to be safe over himself. She forced it back down onto his face and told him to keep it on. He would need it more than she would. Theo didn't have the time to argue with her and kept it on, forcing the back door open and running away, gas filling the air all around the house. His mother was silent, seemingly holding her breath, but soon she fell limp against Theo's back. Theo panicked and got a little ways away from the house before trading the mask and putting back on his mom while she was out, hoping that it would keep her safe and wake her up eventually. 

Theo ran a bit farther before stopping at a harbor near the edge of their town. A boat was drifting in the water with two other stragglers who were also trying to get away from all of the violence in town. Theo asked if the two of them would let them come with them, wherever they were headed. Eventually the four of them left Korea and made it to the Americas, Theo and his mother eventually making their way to the town of Hope. Yet, while the two of them traveled, they always seemed to have that mask with them. Theo's mother never got rid of it, and when Theo told her where he'd found it at, his mother gave it to him. She figured that if it was his aunt's, then maybe it would prove to have more use to someone like Theo than with herself. Theo didn't plan on denying a gift like that and figured that, even though it had memories of a violent past, it also kept the memories of his homeland fresh in his mind. He could always remember his aunt, his mother back when she wasn't always sick, and a land where he was able to be a kid before war struck them. Theo didn't want to just leave it around the house though and as such can always been seen with it on his face, hanging around his neck either in the front on on his back.
