:D another mathematician, fantastic! I'm in exactly the same boat, I feel thy pain - I did statistics courses on the side this year and, though I find their practical application interesting (like using it for health science, or for psychology like I did last year), actually learning all of the techniques etc. was physically painful... ugh. XD
