Skye blinked at the girl, then at the man she was talking to before. "He's the one . . who saved me, right?" She had remembered seeing the javelins being thrown from the wooded area, pinning and killing the soldiers. Skye was grateful that the man was able to spare Benvolio, she wasn't quite sure how much her guardian could actually take. On the down side, she hated the idea of ending another life. She didn't wait for a response from the girl, though. The group seemed like a trustworthy bunch, considering that the other had defended her before. She imagined that they were some sort of rogues caught up in a war or something. And come to think of it, so was she. Skye watched as Benvolio's ears twitched at the other girl, but he said nothing. No comment about her being an "artless idle-bred minnow" or anything. That was most likely a good sign. She accepted the girl's hand, "I-I'm Skye. . .and thank you, I appreciate your help."
