Elemmíre stepped out after the doctor and for a moment she just stood and stared, a light breeze teased her silver hair and ruffled the lacy skirt. They appeared to be in the courtyard of a large hall, there were at least two hundred steps leading up to the door and all around there were people, so many people. They were human or at least most of them looked human although some definitely did not look human but as she gazed intently at them she saw it was nothing more makeup and costumes they wore. The Doctor stood beside as they both stood outside the Tardis, in turn they were both receiving their fair share of looks but the Doctor just seemed to take it in good-naturedly. "Ah looks like some convention. Brilliant” She looked up and saw the widest grin on his face that she had yet seen. "Allons-y shall we?" Hand stuck deep in his pockets the doctor began to wander casually towards the steps with Elemmíre following a step behind him. She knew where she was now, this was earth and it had been an awfully long time since she had walked amongst them, a good decade or two, maybe more. Time was different on this planet from the rest of galaxy. As they walked towards the large entrance people called out to the doctor, their voices full of praise, but she couldn’t catch what they were saying. Keeping pace behind the doctor Elemmíre was fascinated as they walked into the building and found it was as large as several cathedrals inside and full of so many humans, again they were all strangely dressed. They quickly found themselves at the front of a queue and to the human behind the table the doctor flashed a blank piece of paper to him which he seemed to accept as a valid pass. They were handed a map, a schedule and directed to the left which lead to the main hall. “Great Dr Who cosplay by the way.” The man said as they walked away, Elemmíre looked back over her shoulder at him and caught him watching her walk away and then a blush creeping over his face. Elemmíre smoothed her dress down nervously, surprisingly considering those around her and the way they were dressed her outfit was quite reserved. “Well, this is something!” She said, eyes sweeping over the massive hall that lay before her, filled top to bottom with banners, tables piled high with goods and more and more people than she had ever seen.
