Personality: A general wild card, often taking any work that pays. Janus isn't shy of doing dirty deeds for people, feeling confident in his abilities to get the job done by the means necessary. Though this might make him seem to lack morals, he never goes too far, not being one that intends to kill anyone unless threatened, or to work for Cipher. His cocky attitude mixed with his quick-thinking can make him annoying in and out of battle, and getting him to cooperate can be an even bigger pain. Though the Resistance has a good cause, Janus wouldn't think of working for free. He is usually one to look after himself before others, but doesn't have the heart to always leave somebody that's in danger, even if it strains him somewhat. As a companion, Janus is good at gathering information, often having connections in most settlements that he's done some shifty work for. He's also a decent trainer, not afraid of getting into a fight just to prove a point. Though he prefers to let his Pokemon take it easy at times, therefor has become prone to planning escape routes. History: "It's not my fault I have to make a living. Sorry, I can't go getting knee-deep into trouble for absolutely nothing but being told 'I did a good deed'." Growing up in Pyrite Town, Janus was one always ready for trouble. When Cipher began to take over, he jumped on his hovercycle and ditched town without a second thought, not having anyone to care for that lived in the region. After leaving, he soon began his life as a mercenary for hire, working for the general Orre population in multiple ways. He has served as a guard, a thief, an information broker, and more. He has worked against Cipher multiple times, not exactly making them a fan of him. Quite the opposite, as taking him and turning him in would be considered a great gift from whoever managed to bring him in. He has never settled in one place since leaving Pyrite, often going wherever he feels like. He even occasionally drops back by Pyrite, even though he knows the danger of the area. Though he is usually watched, Janus can, and usually does, access The Under whenever he decides to try and kickback. He isn't exactly well known, but his name has gone around somewhat, letting people know that there was either an asset, or a small amount of trouble out there that wasn't Cipher. Some people might figure The Resistance could really use a person like him... But most would brush off the idea, as he'd expect payment instead of just being satisfied with assisting against Cipher. --- Name: Rose Hibiki Appearance:

Starter Pokemon: Tyrogue - Level 25 (Hasn't evolved due to an Everstone.) Mankey - Level 23 Equipment: A Macho Brace (Held by Tyrogue), a Black Belt (Held by Mankey), two great-balls, and a pink sash. Personality: Hibiki is an energetic young woman that is searching for her lost mentor. She generally tries to keep a positive attitude, though she can be easily irritated by just using the wrong choice of words. She has an appreciation for nature and the small gifts of life, not feeling burdened by harsh living conditions. One thing she certainly doesn't do is get pushed around, especially by men. She has an honest belief of female superiority, and shows it when a man gets out-of-line with her. This makes it mildly difficult to be friends with people of the opposite gender at times, though she gets along with other females just fine. History: "Father always said; 'A beautiful girl like yourself has to have some form of protection'! Hehe." Being left in front of a Pokemon Center in Phenac City one faithful night as an infant, an old, traveling man discovered her as he came into town to rest for the evening. He felt sorry for the child, and soon took the infant under his wing, fully aware of the responsibility of caring for a child so young. He gave the young girl a name, deciding on Rose, and granted her his surname. Though over the years she seemed to refer to herself by her surname instead of her actual name. He soon settled down in a secluded area of Agate Forest after finding her, raising the girl as his own daughter. Over the years she began growing in an adorable young girl, and began training in the way of martial-arts. Aside from occasional trips out of the forest or to Agate Village, she mostly practiced in her spare time. She ended up being sparring partners with a few of his Pokemon, a Tyrogue and Mankey mostly. At the age of 12 she was gifted both Pokemon to train with and become strong. Whenever they took trips, Hibiki would battle local trainers and usually come out as the winner. She was quite honestly happy with her life, and couldn't of asked for anything better. In the village was a boy her age, he went by the name of Sulik. The two would battle whenever she came to the village, both with Pokemon, and each-other in friendly competition. As she became a young woman, her father was becoming rather old. It was at this time that Cipher's takeover began, and some people began to be lead down a hopeless road of helping Cipher. She had decided to go to Agate Village as her father went to Phenac City, assuring her he'd be fine. She returned from a day of fun at the village to their small home, only to find he never came back. She waited until morning, only to see he hadn't returned still. She gave it one more day, before deciding it was best to go find him and make sure he was okay. Her trip to Phenac City left her more confused, as he hadn't seemed to have been spotted around at all, and she was one to know that the old coot stood out with the way he acted. She figured that perhaps he was just discreet, and returned home praying this wasn't an issue. The following days proved it indeed was an issue, however. As he never came back. This has led Hibiki to try all in her power to find him over the years, with no success. She has no proof, but has lately assumed that perhaps Cipher was involved, giving her mentor had powerful Pokemon. She is currently attempting to figure out where she could confirm or deny that her assumption is true or not, but doesn't have much of an idea as to where she would start...
