And here's my character. She is the last piece of our cult group. I'm pretty excited to this type of character lol.
Name
Varrina Terry
Age
27
Appearance
Standing 5'7 with a slender frame of 115 lbs, Varrina Terry is not very striking in any respect. Her slim silhouette left her almost flat in the chest and even worse in the hips, leaving her elongated limbs to give her a stick-like figure. Stringy brown hair clumps together in messy strands in places and a rushed, sloppy ponytail is the best it ever gets even if it's not quite a bed-head. Hazel eyes and arched eyebrows are the stand out features on the same face as thin lips that at least get chapstick when necessary. In a twist of irony however, Varrina does slightly value the clothing she wears even if nothing looks especially good on her. Extra small clothes still hang slightly due to her frame and she constantly wears jackets around her shoulders because garments always seem to refuse to stay over them. Even the full-framed, black glasses she wears have to be constantly pushed up because they are just slightly too big for her face. Overall, Varrina Terry is the definition of an average or even below-average girl who has more important things to do than worry about her physical appearance. She wears clothes because it's the law and she eats just enough to continue living in decent health
Inherited ability
Electricity
Brief History
Varrina was always that person you were told to avoid. She was the eccentric, not all the way there sort of woman that not many guys could ever find interest in. Yet, despite these truths, Varrina took solace in her own unapproachable demeanor. Growing up in many different places due to her military family, a young Varrina was often stunned by what she considered to be the sheer stupidity of humanity. With her father serving the government, she was able to nearly always be on the end of a rumor concerning that myth. She could never refer to it by name as her mother had forbidden such things, but Varrina never let the ideas leave her memory. Here there were legends, myths, and alleged cover-ups regarding beings of almost god-like power and no one was asking a single question? It was madness. Unspoken blasphemy even. While the girl was never considered a genius, she always had the habit of pouring her energy (and nose) into books and research. School was a breeze for the only Terry child, but it was never an education she was interested in. As soon as Varrina entered college, she made it half a year into freshman career before dropping out to dedicate all of her time to the Guardians legend. She ignored the few friends she had, alienated family, and generally caused strangers to giive strange looks as she made speeches on street corners and at city-wide functions proudly proclaiming that the Guardians must have existed and she would find the proof for all of poor humanity. Her goal was unintelligible to most, but crystal clear in her own head: she needed to find the Guardians so she could do what needed to be done. End their existence. For Varrina however, there was no justice in her quest. In fact, her reasoning was probably the complete opposite of anyone else's. Varrina had grown tired of people around her. Even though she had been bullied and picked on most of her life, she didn't want revenge or anything silly like that. As she watched the world continue on in peace, she came to the realization that the naivete of humans was too great to bear witness to. If the legends were true and the Guardians were really the force that kept the global peace going, Varrina wanted to kill them all so chaos could ensue once more. In her mind, if chaos returned to the world then humanity may finally continue to evolve and progress at a natural frequency. After years of research, isolation, soapbox speeches, and general eccentric behavior, Varrina finally made a breakthrough. She made contact with a local cult comprised of people who were like-minded. People who just knew in their hearts that the Guardians were real. Regardless of why they wanted to find them, the fact of the matter was that they wanted to find them. That drive alone was enough reason for Varrina to join and it would be that drive that would fuel her motivations. She silently hoped against all that her new friends would finally allow her to live out her malevolent fantasies with no inhibitions. After all, she had always known that she was the only one in the world with the truth in her brain. With that being the case, she felt she was also the one with a responsibility to the rest of the world.
