Hotaru picked up the gourd Mary had brought her to start with, feeling a bit self conscious about the fact she kind of wanted more but they were both in there. She thumbed at the cork as she looked up at Larel when he said she could complain to him, smirking a bit when he mentioned not being proud of getting used to the voices. She looked down, though she raised a brow at the continuation of the conversation. Even Mary was suddenly a bit curious about who was in his shadow with Zenmaru, but Hotaru blanked a bit when he tested the blood for anything in it. Mary put her hand to her mouth to hide her smirk, finding it quite touching he actually taste tested it for her to make sure Zenmaru wasn't out to get her. "I'm going to go watch for Mera," Mary said and stepped out of the room, not missing the 'traitor' look on Hotaru's face. Hotaru sighed as the door closed behind her, before looking at the gourd again, "This sucks," she muttered before opening it and making a quite displeased face as she drank more, quickly closing it again once she had enough, "Awful," she made a different kind of face before looking at Larel, "Who do you have in there?" she asked, wondering why he was having to keep Zenmaru from eating them. Mary walked outside, standing outside of the inn as she waited for the others to arrive. She knew Raina was still inside, but she didn't imagine they would see her again before they left. She was surprised Raina had stuck around as long as she had, but being beat by Mera was her usual last straw of being friendly- even if she always brought it on herself. She knew she should get on her own way again soon, but she couldn't find herself really wanting to leave without seeing the happy endings that Eryn kept proposing. She sighed, looking over her shoulder in the other two's general direction, "Maybe by the time I get back they'll figure it out," she smirked. "Why are you so set on fixing everyone else?" Mera asked Eryn as she crossed her arms and Eryn quickly shook his head. "No, not fix. Improve," he corrected, "I just want to see people happy and as the usual outsider of a situation, I can figure out what they need better than they can-" "What you think they need," she interjected, "Have you never tried "improving" someone who just wanted to be left alone?" "More than a few times." "And yet you continue." "Because I've been at this awhile and I've had more success than failure," he smiled, nodding and she rolled her eyes. "Just don't going pushing the buttons of people who could legitimately hurt you for poking your nose where it doesn't go," she sighed, shaking her head. Though she thought his trying to be "cupid" was silly and not nearly as appreciated as he thought it was, she was worried he really would get himself hurt trying to mess with things he ought leave alone. "Still trying to mother all of us?" he teased her and she punched his arm in a way that made him have to stop and hold it, "OW!" he said after a moment of looking at her agape, "Not necessary!" "That's for gossiping about me. I heard you telling things that are no one else's business. I was going to let it slide until that," she pointed at him before looking up as they got close to the village. Eryn pouted, quite upset at being hurt. Mary waved as they got closer to the inn, smiling seeing they were all together. She walked back towards Alari and Kaori, holding out a key, "Here, Hotaru went ahead and purchased your room while Larel was out eating," she said. "Raina's here too. You stay with her tonight," Mera said to Eryn who agreed, not wanting to get hurt anymore tonight. He went to the room Mera said as she looked down the way, trying to see if there were any good places that sold fabric still open
