She had a pretty good normal upbringing albeit being a handful or hectic at times but none the less Aaliyah enjoyed the family unit she was in and even school life was good as she picked up a good education and as par requirement she learned English as a second language. One part that Aaliyah loved most was the culture and architecture of her home city which is the second largest in her country and enjoyed sports for keeping active and a love for music which either mostly consisted of calm or hip hop music depending on her mood. Her family often considered there daughter to be very outgoing, always wanting to explore and learn new things but was also protective of her younger brothers and sister. Aaliyah eventually got to that stage however of thinking about her future in what she wanted to achieve and was fascinated about the world around her wanting to travel the world to see new cultures and places to gain that sense of freedom, Her parents originally wanted their daughter to go into the University of Gothenburg but Aaliyah had other ideas and wanted to do something different, Something that would be a challenge and have to work hard for. But that dream was crushed or so she thought after the heavenfall which forced her family to evacuate Gothenburg. Times were hard as the fight for survival became the new way of life while governments fought pretty much over everything. It was not around till the time she was old enough and the united nations managed to get The September Agreement signed that Aaliyah saw her chance after seeing fighter craft in action and immediately took up the opportunity to sign up and join the SAF. ( Swedish Air Force.) She would spend most of this time learning and honing her skills and training in various aircraft such as the Saab Viggen and Draken models before being able to get her hands on the JAS 39 Gripen which would be the craft she would pilot once the young woman successfully passed her training and earned her wings. As Sweden was part of the united nations there forces became part of the UNF and Aaliyah managed to get some training and flight time in some other aircraft such as the F-16 and Euro-fighter Typhoon but remained firmly as a Gripen pilot where she performed many sorties mostly consisting of patrols where skirmishes and stand off's were quite frequent until it turned into an all out shooting war which is where Aaliyah got her first kill and racked up several others, But this was not without ease as she had several very close calls of her own. Soon though none of that would of mattered as while on patrol and unknown to her at first through the confusion non UN nations calling themselves the United New World Order and attacked the UN HQ and other major key strategic locations, The Swedish fighter pilot didn't fair much better either she was shot down but managed to successfully eject and safely land. It would take several days before Aaliyah was found and picked up by a UN patrol, Aaliyah has since been assigned to Avalon Squadron. [b]Service Record:[/b] Aaliyah spend the best part including her training of her career with the Swedish Air Force for 10 years before serving 4 years in the UNF where she continued to operate the Gripen until being subsequently shot down. Her experience in the air force is what got her assigned to Avalon Squadron with a pretty decent reputation and experience in flying a variety of aircraft.
