I looked over my shoulder in case that loud man in charge might be near to pick on someone and heard Daisy, but he wasn't. All I could see was the large number of people, forcing themselves to eat the oatmeal. "It is awful." I commented, looking back down at my bowl. "But if you don't eat this, what will you have? They hardly have anything as it is, we're on rations. It may be revolting but you've got to keep your strength up, I have a feeling we won't want to be staying here any longer than we have too." I said. "Besides, it can't be oatmeal for every meal."
