Here's the majority of my Cap CS. I need the Story So Far to finish it. Player Name: HenryJonesJr Character You Wish To Play: Stephanie Carter/Captain America Moral Alignment (Hero, Villain, Walking the Line): Hero Affiliation (what group/team/organization, if any, is your character affiliated with?): SHIELD, possibly Avengers depending on the story so far. Character Origin & Backstory: Steve Rogers, the man known to the world as Captain America, was lost at the end of World War II and considered dead by the vast majority of the world. SHIELD was lost without its super soldier, and America as a whole mourned their fallen hero even as they gained victory in Europe. The loss of the super solider led to the decision to drop two nuclear bombs on Japan, the only way to end the Asian campaign without massive casualties. And after that, the Earth settled into the tenuous peace of the Cold War. But as the 20th century progressed, and America entered into quagmire war after quagmire war, the powers that be decided that it was time to reopen the Project Rebirth file and find a way to bring back the super soldier. Many of the world's top scientists came to work on making another Captain America, but time after time they failed to do so. That is until elderly Nazi and HYDRA defector Arnim Zola came up with a radical hypothesis. They would attempt to literally birth a new Captain America. Zola knew that SHIELD had collected genetic material from Captain America before he was lost. He would use such material and alter it to ensure the Captain's abilities were passed on to his genetically engineered offspring. A surrogate mother needed to be found to birth the baby. Sharon Carter, niece of Rogers's old flame Peggy Carter and SHIELD operative, volunteered and was chose as the mother for the child and carried it to term. But doctors and scientists were surprised, as the child was a girl, something none of them prepared for going into the experiment. Named Stephanie in honor of her "father", Sharon raised the girl alone and outside of SHIELD facilities, as she and Fury decided it would be best for the child to live a normal life before being told what she was. Stephanie grew up a happy child, and it was quickly apparent that her powers would in fact materialize. She was smarter, faster, stronger, and overall more impressive than the children she grew up with, earning the title "Golden Girl" early on in life. The name stuck through high school and college, where she was a consistent All-American in a myriad of sports. She was always the most popular girl in school, even though her mother instilled in her a great sense of honor. She was never a bully or a cruel child, and often stuck up for the smaller and "unpopular" kids. But she was also full of fear. She knew there was something unnatural about her powers, and with growing mutant unrest across the country, she feared she would be persecuted. Due to that, she rarely let people really get to know her outside of her mother, and was often quiet when it came to personal matters. Stephanie was now a woman of 24 years of age. Freshly out of college, she worked as a social worker in Los Angeles. She had started doing some light vigilante work, using her powers and abilities to strike out against those she knows are doing the neighborhoods she services as a social worker wrong. After Stephanie was injured while confronting an LA mobster on patrol, she was contacted by Agent Maria Hill, and her origin is exposed to her. She was taken to SHIELD HQ, the Triskelion, for training, where she was kept hidden from the rest of SHIELD. Steph received a month of training from Dugan, at the end of which she was given her Captain America costume and her father's shield. She then took on command of a team comprised of Hill, Sam Wilson, and Clint Barton whose mission is to track down and stop the leader of the villainous Fourth Reich, the Red Skull. The Skull, taking his lead from the infamous Johan Schmidt of HYDRA, gathered his army of Neo-Nazis and radicals and radicals over the course of a decade, forming them into a very dangerous terrorist organization. They were dedicated to eradicating the mutant race and were ready to do so with any means necessary. The Red Skull exploded onto the scene, bombing a pro-mutant rally and handing Captain America's team their first defeat, one that was personal for Steph. Skull mocked her as he murdered countless civilians, saying she was not worthy to carry her father's shield. Over the course of Year One, Steph and her team tried to keep up with Skull's massive network of terrorists and spies. For every step forward they made, they also seemed to take two steps back. They failed to track down the Reich's headquarters while clashing with Red Skull's mercenaries and assassins. The conflict escalated, however, when Skull and a group of his commandos managed to infiltrate the Triskelion, setting off a bomb that caused massive damage and loss of life in the SHIELD home base. Steph's team is now cut off from the majority of their support with still little knowledge on where to look for the Red Skull next. Powers and Abilities (What can you're character do? What can't they do?): Stephanie has all the normal powers of Captain America, though slightly less potent as the hero of legend. She has slight superhuman strength, speed, dexterity, agility, healing, and durability. Her biological lineage also gives her above average intelligence and superior strategic thinking. Basically she's similar to the Ultimate version of Captain America, but on the lower end of his power set. Since training with SHIELD, Stephanie has become a skilled hand-to-hand combatant, a master with Captain America's shield, and a skilled strategist. Sample Post (This is used as an introduction to your writing try to keep it to around three paragraphs or more and try to include dialogue): The smoke poured from the Triskelion like an inky, black smog, turning the San Fransisco sky into tar. Small fires still raged across the island, but most of the blazes were now under control. But a fire still raged in the heart of Captain America as she surveyed the damage, both structural and human. This was the ultimate insult by the Red Skull. He had hit her and the team right where they lived, and then he waltzed out as if he had already owned the place. This after a year of seemingly being one step ahead of them at every turn. The Red Skull was living up to his name, and now the SHIELD agents dying around her were paying the price for her failures. And she would not let that go unpunished. "Cap," Sam Wilson, codenamed Falcon, approached from behind her. Wilson had become a strong friend and ally since she joined SHIELD, and he was always right behind her when jumping into the fray. "I wanna fry this bastard." "Damn straight," Clint Barton agreed. Her and Barton had rarely seen eye to eye, but he was a good agent. He knew when to follow orders and perform. "We'll get him," Steph seethed. This time she meant it. There was nothing that was going to stop them this time. There was no protocol. There was not due process. She was going to find the Fourth Reich and bring them to their knees. And then she was going to make the Red Skull wish he had never been born. He tried to destroy the only extended family she had ever know. He had tried to kill the people that were responsible for her. Most of all, he had tried to destroy her father's legacy. Tried to destroy her legacy. That wasn't something Captain America took lightly.

Player Name: HenryJonesJr Character You Wish To Play: Logan/Wolverine Moral Alignment (Hero, Villain, Walking the Line): Hero Affiliation (what group/team/organization, if any, is your character affiliated with?): X-Men Character Origin & Backstory: | Birth and Childhood | The man now known as Logan was born James Howlett in the Canadian Rockies during the 1880s. Howlett's family owned a successful whiskey distillery, and thanks to that, James was raised in the lap of luxury. His mother doted on him constantly as her first and only born. His father, however, was distant and solely focused on the business. He saw James as nothing more than a way to continue his line and pass on the family empire. James looked to make his father proud in every way he could think of, but the elder Howlett rarely noticed. Tragedy struck the distillery when a bout of fever ravaged the small community. James came down with the illness, and passed it to his mother who insisted on treating him herself. The fever ran through her body and burned through her in a matter of days. James, however, miraculously recovered. But there was more than that. Claws shot out of the back of his hands and he began showing signs of his animalistic tendencies. His father, a religious and superstitious man, saw this as a sign of a curse or possession, and attempted to kill his son. James defended himself and ended up killing his father before disappearing into the Canadian wilderness. | The War to End All War | James took the alias "Logan" and wandered the wilderness. As he grew, he took on odd jobs in order to survive. He took work as a lumberjack, hired muscle, and a miner. His strength and animal instincts helped him survive the harsh, cold existence, and his reputation for brawling proceeded him. It wasn't until World War I erupted in Europe until Logan began to find his way in the world. Logan enlisted in the Canadian Division of Englad's army and traveled to Europe to fight in the great conflict. All of his abilities combined to make him one of the most distinguished soldiers in the force, but due to fear of his true nature being discovered, he often passed his heroic deeds' credit onto others. It was during the war that Logan was dubbed "the Wolverine" by those around him, and it was also where he truly began to hone his fighting skills. | World War II | Logan went on to fight in World War II, recruited by Canada's mysterious Department K. They apparently knew of everything Logan had done in WWI, including what his abilities were. They said they did not want to study him, but that he was necessary to fight the Nazi war machine. Logan gladly accepted, and was sent once more to Europe. Once there, he was assigned to Captain America's Howling Commandos. The Wolverine served with honor, and became good friends with the American super soldier. Their squad fought against Hitler's HYDRA deep science division, and turned the tied of the war. After victory was secured in Europe, Logan was sent as a spy to Japan. He was discovered, however, and was thrown into a prison camp. There, he befriended one of his guards, who taught him the ways of the katana and Japanese battle strategies. Here Logan stayed until the nuclear bombs were dropped on Nagasaki and Hiroshima. As a free man, Logan decided to stay in Japan, as the culture agreed with his sensibilities. He settled down after a few years and married, and even had a child. | Tragedy and Weapon X | Happiness was not meant for Logan, it seemed. He returned home one day to find his wife and infant murdered. This set Wolverine on a rampage as he desperately searched for the men responsible. Instead, Logan ran into an old friend from Department K. They told him of a new project the Americans were starting called Weapon X. Its purpose was to create the next super soldier to replace the lost Captain America. Department K had put forth his name as a test subject. Seeing no other path for his life, Logan agreed on the condition that he would be allowed the resources to find who murdered his family, which was agreed upon. But the reality was far different than the promise. Wolverine was forced to have the unbreakable metal called adamantium grafted to his skeleton. The process was lengthy and extremely painful. It ended successfully, but also put Logan in a coma for a week. During this time, Weapon X grafted Logan with an experimental mind control device. When he woke, Wolverine was unable to control his own action, but could see everything he was doing. He was sent on assassinations, sometimes even being sent to kill children and seemingly innocent people. He learned, through his orders, that he was being sent to destroy mutant targets. This was the first time Logan had ever heard the term, and learned this was what he was the whole time. This led him to fighting back against his programming, eventually overcoming the mind control and retaking control of his body. He escaped Weapon X, destroying the facility where he was made in the process. | Fugitive and Finding Xavier | Now a man on the run, Logan did his best in order to help the mutant population under siege by a paranoid populace. It was during this time that he was drawn to the legend of a man known as "X" in the mutant community. It was said he was setting up a safe zone for mutant people. Wolverine made his way towards finding him, and in doing so began setting up a sort of mutant underground railroad. Eventually, Logan met the mysterious "X", revealing himself to be Professor Charles Xavier. Charles offered Logan a spot at his new school, but Logan refused. He believed he could do more funneling mutants to Charles's safe area then staying in once place. | Joining the X-Men | That all changed when the Purifier attacks began. During the first round of lynchings, Logan interfered in a botched lynching. The mob had killed a young mutant's parents, and were going to kill the girl, named Jean Grey, when she lost control of her telepathic abilities and ended up killing them instead. Logan saved the girl and got her out of the rioting town before making his way towards Xavier's school. Once there, Logan learned how widespread the attacks were, and that it was finally time to put his loner streak to rest. He decided to stay, joined Xavier's X-Men, and decided to help raise young Jean as if she was his own. The X-Men were comprised of Xavier, a powerful telepath, Logan, Doctor Hank McCoy, known as Beast thanks to his wild appearance, Storm, who was able to control the weather, and Warren Worthington III, known as Angel thanks to his angelic wings. The team traveled the world to protect mutants from the Purifiers, while also fighting Erik Lahnsherr's Brotherhood. The two groups clashed many times over the span of two years until the fateful day on Cape Citadel. There, Magneto was believed to be killed, and Xavier was paralyzed when debris fell on him during the fight. After the battle, the US Government began cracking down on anti-mutant rallies and violence. With this and the dissolution of the Brotherhood after Magneto's death, the X-Men disbanded and went back to teaching at the school, save Worthington who went on to run his father's company. Logan was in charge of training the next round of X-Men should the need for them ever arise. As the years went on, two students showed the most potential for the team. One was Logan's own adoptive daughter Grey, and the other was Scott Summers. Summers demonstrated a militaristic discipline and dedication to the training, and Grey, according to the Professor, could one day be the most powerful telepath in the world. The two made a good team, and eventually fell for one another romantically. But Wolverine worried about Summers. He seemed to have a radical view on saving the mutant race, and Wolverine worried that one day he may snap. They were eventually joined on the new team by Scott's brother Alex, Kitty Pryde, and Piotr Rasputin. | Year One | The new version of the X-Men was deployed for the first time after a pro-mutant rights rally was attacked by a new version of the Purifiers, aided by their new Sentinel battle armor. The X-Men and Purifiers clashed many times over the year, leading the mutant team to find where their new sense of power came from. The Sentinel armor came from wealthy industrialist Bolivar Trask, an anti-mutant supporter. Trask thought the advent of mutant kind would end with the end of the human race, so he dedicated his life to creating anti-mutant weapons. The X-Men managed to put Trask behind bars, but eventually had an unexpected confrontation when the Brotherhood emerged yet again. The evil mutant group attempted to take over the Sentinel Armor facility in order to turn the weapons against humanity, but were stopped by the X-Men. Unfortunately during the battle, Scott and his brother were seduced by the Brotherhood's rhetoric, and Cyclops switched sides, turning against humanity. Logan also had a personal encounter during this battle against the Brotherhood member known as Sabertooth, who seemed to share many of Logan's abilities. Now the X-Men have had their team depleted, and their world is even more dangerous than ever. First X-Men -Charles Xavier (Leader) -Wolverine -Storm -Beast -Angel Current X-Men -Wolverine (Leader) -Storm -Beast -Colossus -Jean Grey -Shadowcat Brotherhood -Magneto -Cyclops -Havok -Sabertooth -Toad Powers and Abilities (What can you're character do? What can't they do?): Logan's main mutant ability is an incredibly potent healing factor. He is able to recover from the most grievous injuries. The healing factor has also extended Logan's life to an extreme degree. While he is nearly 140 years old, he has the body of a 45-50 year old. His body also is kept at peak physical condition thanks to his cells' super-active nature. It's thought that decapitating the mutant could kill him, but his adamantium-laced skeleton prevents that from happening. The metal covering his bones is impervious to all forms of damage, and makes Wolverine a walking tank. His mind is also incredibly difficult to read, which is believed to be another side effect of the metal coating. Logan's other mutant abilities are his animalistic traits. He has claws, now coated with the same adamantium on his bones making them ultra-sharp blades. His senses of smell, sight, and hearing are also at superhuman levels, making Wolverine the world's most skilled hunter/tracker in the world. During his long life, Logan has learned multiple forms of martial arts and battle strategies, making him one of the sharpest tactical minds in the world. However, his temped can sometimes get in the way of his smarts. Sample Post (This is used as an introduction to your writing try to keep it to around three paragraphs or more and try to include dialogue): His targets were sloppy. Logan could here them kicking the debris of the crumbling buildings around them as they ran from cover to cover. He could smell the fear on them. It wasn't going to take long to corner them. He slid down a drainpipe, making as little noise as possible. He slunk through the shadows, making sure his enemies had no idea where he was coming from. He slid against a wall, peering over it at the young woman frantically scanning the area for him. He hopped the low, crumbling wall and rushed her, popping out his claws in the process. SNIKT She turned, but by then it was too late. He swung down with his claw, stopping just before hitting her. He smirked at her, "Yer out, Red." "No fair, Logan," Jean rolled her eyes. "Put me up against someone I can actually read." Jean was a smart kid, but wasn't taking to the Danger Room training like he had hoped she would. Chuck said she had unlimited potential, but she seemed tentative to really push herself. It made sense, after all. When he found her, she was a three year old who had just accidentally killed the Purifiers that had killed her parents and who had tried to kill her. Since that day, Jean had always seemed scared of her abilities. But now things were different. She needed to be able to defend herself if she was going to be on this team and help protect mutant-kind. And she needed to be able to do it now. "Then you wouldn't learn anything, kid," was Logan's response as he went off to engage his other students.
