Nolan grabbed the XM500, and clamped it back onto the front carry bars of his quad. He unholstered his PP2000 and hopped aboard his quad. He motioned to Andrew, "I'll be there to cover you up close this time." The pair roared off. Nolan keeping his PP2000 belted over his shoulder. And also belted on his M9 too, just in case. They arrived at the devastated AA position. Nolan jumping off his quad and making his way behind Andrew. Checking bodies as they went. Putting an addition two into some of them that still lived. There were not alot of them. He came running over when he heard the gun shots from Andrew. Sliding in on cover and looking about taking stock of the bodies. He crept around behind the AA platform and looked for anyone else. He spotted a hole into the ground, and tossed an incendiary grenade down inside, he heard the snap hiss of the burning phosphorus, then pulled out a frag and tossed it in to seal it. He came back around the AA just as Andrew finished up. He put on the speed, making for the quads, "This is going to be big isn't it?" He hopped up, letting out a soft urf as he canned himself on the seat of the quad, be got the thing running, turning and waiting for Andrew to get on, "Come on man!" He gunned his engine and roared down the track. Heading up and towards their previous OP. He skidded and flared to a rolling stop as the explosion went off. He turned around in his seat, and watched the fireworks. Ducking at one point when a piece of shrapnel hissed over head, "Well...that's mighty impressive. You do good work brother." He hit his accelerator again and drifted into Andrew's wake again. ---- They rode into Vulture like conquering heroes. And they sure as hell conquered. So many insurgents dead, and three major targets taken out, it was a good day cruising the theater of operation and doing what they needed to do. But Nolan atleast was running low on essentials, like water, a little food and he needed to refill his sniper ammo. And leave the remaining EXACTO ammo behind for later use. He shut his quad down and he headed into the cave to restock. While doing so he heard Andrew get a comms from Merlin. He keyed into it while restocking. Sounded like timetables were being moved up. He decided to grab some Armor Piercing ammo just incase, along side the HEIAP rounds he had too. It'd work out in the end. He trooped out along side Andrew, "Once we're back here I'll find a place to post up to give overwatch. Me and my old flame the Tac 50." ---- Carl loaded up the last of the items they were taking with them. He loaded himself in and nodded back to Jenny, "Hell of a sight isn't it? It's always an incredible thing. No matter where you are, it's the same sun rising or setting, and billions of people are watching it at the same time. Manitou gives gifts even when we're in the thick of the shit." He slammed the armor plating behind Ross, "We're tucked and loaded up Cap." He brought his M249 up and mounted it on the adaptive pintle in front of his seat. He strapped himself in as the time counted down. He smiled, "Hey Jenny, let's see if you're a better driver then Ross is." HE grinned up at his partner. Then gripped the roll cage bar beside him. They shot out of the Osprey, and for a moment he felt the loss of gravity. One of those incredible slow time moments. They sailed through the air for a time. He gripped tightly, then braced as they hit the ground. Carl caught sight of dirt and snow flying as the wheels dug into the ground. He grinned as they finally got purchase and the Growler well growled off. He took up visual scouting, looking for potential trouble. ----- Further up the mountain Nolan laid under an overhang, his white ghille hiding him within a small snowpile. He couldn't feel the cold at all. His Tac 50 painted white at the moment, hidden against the background. He scanned through his scope quietly, His cross hair passing over an Osprey as it buzzed away, "Delivery of our heavily armored friends seems to have gone pretty well. Their taxi just left. Our friends should be coming up the path soon." He continued to scan the area, reaching over and putting some snow in his mouth to keep the steam from his mouth showing too much. It there was anyone out there he didn't want to be seen. Not yet anyway.
