Yeah, same reasoning behind why eating meat isn't cannibalism. Animals are made of flesh, just like you and I, but they aren't human so it really doesn't fit the definition.

Though claiming otherwise sounds like some shitty argument that PETA or something would bring up, now that I think about it.
