As Azrul charged towards Sayto, he noticed Victoria crossing the buildings and landing in front of Sayto. Stopping dead in his tracks, he watched with surprise as she began to combat Sayto. When she used the blinding magic he squinted, raising his free arm and shielding his eyes with it. When the light disappeared and he looked back, Sayto was entrapped in a barrier of ice. SIghing of relief, he began to relax his muscles. However, when the ground began to shake the barrier cracked, his eyes widened with surprise and his muscles tightened. When he heard the man angrily speaking within the barrier, he charged towards him and Victoria.

[i]"Run! Get away!"[/i] was all he could get out before the bolt exploded near her, draining the last of Sayto's magic energy and causing him to black out. Continuing his sprint towards Sayto's body, he called out to the Fairy Tail members he knew were nearby, [i]"Tend to your guildmate! Quickly!"[/i] When he reached the body, he put his foot on top of Sayto's stomach and held his sword to his neck, neutralizing him and making sure he couldn't get back up if he were to awaken.
