I'm very impressed with the characters posted, both are definitely approved. When I have more of a chance, I'll add them to the OP. Rafale, it seems likely that our characters may have heard of one another, even if they haven't met. Or only met in passing. 

Re: the [i]Nimue's[/i] runway, it's smaller and straighter than a normal aircraft carrier, as it's a submarine. I'll try and post a diagram once I have more time to do so. If you re-read the info in the OP though, it does have more about aircraft launch and recovery and storage, as well as the ship facilities.

I also love the motto - I think it sums up what to aspire to perfectly. The chivalry aspect fits in neatly with all the Arthurian references as well.
