I sat on bed when Daisy went off to change, and gently pulled my jacket off, setting it down beside me. With a sigh, I pulled out the bruise cream Glenda gave me. I wanted to just collapse into bed and not think about anything. Placing the cream back in the jacket pocket, I then reached to the pile of clothes on the end of the bed, wincing when I stretched my body too much. Grabbing my track pants and a loose grey jumper, I slowly changed wincing every time I moved wrong. After what felt like forever, I lay back on the bed, my head sinking into the stiff pillow, more comfortable than it should be. I didn't even hear Daisy come back, I was out in seconds.
